Why are you looking the other direction at an opponent’s coach instead of at the flag? Disrespectful… I actually thought GC parents would be gracious for their youngest WCAC game in years. I must be new here. |

Fact: GC nation claimed for months they were going to dominate SJC.
Fact: Tonight SJC held GC - a nationally ranked conference opponent - to two goals. Fact: GC had the benefit of years of conference titles and a pipeline of recruited talent going into tonight’s game. Fact: SJC has a brand new coach. Her past record was mocked and excoriated by GC fans in this forum. Tonight she proved her ability to coach up an existing squad everyone wrote off at the beginning of the year - one that nearly brought GC down. Fact: SJC proved GC is a beatable team, and that has completely changed the odds going into WCAC conference play. |
Thank you Dwight. |
Someone is big on moral victories. Has St. John’s EVER beat us? |
3 teams have already proven GC is beatable and St. John’s isn’t one of them. |
Do St. John’s parents have nothing better to do than come on here and argue about youth sports? Pathetic. |
Pathetic is when GC fans mocked her college track record and goal differential at the start of the season. Remember that? |
One loss does mean something and a loss in conference to a rival when you could have wrapped up division means more. |
+1 - This particular loss for Saints is huge. Saints pp's try to justify their wins against cupcake schedule but downplay loss to a worthy league opponent. This loss may have league ramifications. Also, dads of Saints defenders pointing fingers at midfielders in a loss is not a great look for a program. |
Saints play with a defensive Middie anyway so throwing shade at middie position makes no sense. Visi clearly has a few truly gifted offensive talents. They created their own space and got off a lot of great shots. Congrats to visi. No doubt better team yesterday. Next week should produce some excellent games. |
Eveyone on here is arguing about youth sports. Lol. |

You talking about the Volunteer that was crying about the officiating from the box? |
From what I’ve heard, she’s a decent coach, but as a person, there seem to be some concerns. Her behavior—like keeping her hands in her pockets during the national anthem—seems to reflect a broader attitude. I believe her husband serves in the military, which makes that even more surprising. |
