This board is obsessed with the U13 year. This is the pinnacle of parental wanderlust. Parents of 2008s are now at peak in throwing rocks at opposing clubs and making fun of other kids. It all falls off from here as reality sets in. The 2010s will have their day in two years, next year for the 2009s.

They are not going to kick Loudoun out. I don't think they will kick anyone out for a few more years. By the time they get around to it Loudoun will have enough strong teams to make a case to stay. The 2007, 2008, 2009 team are all strong and will stay that way provided they can keep their players.

LOL no it’s just typical CCL. A few decent teams at the top and everyone else. The top teams would have problems in GA or ECNL because their roster from top to bottom are just not as strong.

Mclean or BRYC would be dropped before Loudoun but ECNL will not drop any clubs. Loudoun and Arlington are the two clubs any league would want. They have a large pool of players, location is good in terms of Nova and could draw easily from all of Nova. Before DA(now GA)ECNL was the thing and Nova could support all these ECNL clubs. With GA there are too many ECNL clubs in Nova and some clubs have lost their unofficial feeders clubs.

That said I would rather see more options vs less options. The way the system is set up is pretty ridiculous. After u13 it’s a closed system and some good players are left out at a really young age.

McLean being a founding member and club with a history of success in ECNL would not be dropped over a rough stretch.

Loudoun and BRYC have proven nothing. Loudoun has one young team to hang its hat on and that is all they have. BRYC is just bad.

Don’t listen to these Loudoun staffers. Part of their job description is since covid is to roam internet pages to discredit opposition. Which uses facts and evidence and not feelings those Losers. As you noted, their 07G team is the only thing they can clinch to. Outside of that? Humiliating scores and subpar coaching.
