SOCA should clearly be in ECNL

Rumor is they are applying to be in ECNL. Same with VA Beach

And as mentioned before, they with another NOVA club will be replacing Loudoun.

Which NOVA club?

Mclean or BRYC would be dropped before Loudoun but ECNL will not drop any clubs. Loudoun and Arlington are the two clubs any league would want. They have a large pool of players, location is good in terms of Nova and could draw easily from all of Nova. Before DA(now GA)ECNL was the thing and Nova could support all these ECNL clubs. With GA there are too many ECNL clubs in Nova and some clubs have lost their unofficial feeders clubs.

That said I would rather see more options vs less options. The way the system is set up is pretty ridiculous. After u13 it’s a closed system and some good players are left out at a really young age.

McLean being a founding member and club with a history of success in ECNL would not be dropped over a rough stretch.

Loudoun and BRYC have proven nothing. Loudoun has one young team to hang its hat on and that is all they have. BRYC is just bad.

There is no light at the end of the tunnel for mclean or bryc. They just are not getting the players any more. Mclean use to get everyone from inside the beltway. That is done.

And what is Loudoun doing with the players they have?

Not much.

2 ECNL clubs need to go bye bye with no replacements.

Seems like Loudoun won 4 out of 6 games against McLean this weekend on the boys side. Another example that the LS haters should be so fast to dismiss the club. There are a lot of quality players in ECNL boys and girls mid Atlantic. Definitely enough talent in NOVA to support The number of teams. Hopefully Arlington girls get into ECNL like the boys. All the talk about local clubs being dropped from ECNL is just wishful thinking by some

Nobody cares about boys ECNL. Not hate, just apathy.

In the long run it all comes down to which club has the more college commitments.

1. VDA
2.Loudoun
3. ARLINGTIN

2 of the 3 best 08 teams are ECNL while 1 is GA. I think Arlington should be applying every month so ECNL can get the message last weekend Arlington demolished a team GA is a joke

Loudoun 08 ECNL is among the best in ECNL?

"PWSI Courage Girls 2008 Pride" in Division 1 seems to have forfeited their four remaining games for the fall (per the posted division schedule). Aside from having lost the first five games, is there more to this "action?"

Sounds like Covid to me.

They tied McLean yesterday. They are not top 3. In NOVA for 08 group it is VDA and Arlington. Everyone else is way below.

Friendly reminder that if one weekend is all you need to spew toxic vitriol is all the soccer community needs to know about your ‘standards’ and ‘expectations’.

First weekend in about 2 years where they can claim something. Meh, we see right trough you.

Saying don’t be so quick to bury Loudoun Soccer is now considered toxic vitriol? That says a lot more about your level of anger toward LS than anyone’s standards or expectations
