So all of Iran's nuclear production facilities are still standing, and none of the IDF or USAF ordnance hit any such targets. Hey, I have a bridge for sale - wanna buy it?

Can you provide literally any proof that these attacks impacted Iran’s nuclear program whatsoever?

Its been 1 day, I doubt proof is available. There is definite proof that Iran is completely exposed at this point, a lot like our southern border under Biden.

Obviously it had an enormous impact. The degree to which will be unknown for some time. But does it really matter? The US has demonstrated that they can do this over and over again until there's a desired outcome.

There is the psychological impact, the same kind that caused M. Qadafi of Libya to behave. It is a similar effect when America punched out the Barbary pirates. We’ve just told Iran, “You can now talk to the fist. We are done playing patty-cakes with you.”

We've tried it the Dems' way for year, and for what? To see North Korea now nuclear with ICBM capabilities and Iran on the verge of going nuclear? We tried the carrot for many years, it didn't work. Now they're getting the stick.

What good are US treaties and alliances if you're not willing to back them up with spine? If Iran went nuclear, then so would Saudi Arabia. Then Jordan. Then who knows. Nuclear proliferation gets out of control because Iran would have made a mockery out of decades of hard fought anti-proloferation efforts.

What did we get for Obama's $2B in cash pallets dropped on Iran? Nothing, just a continuation of a a nuke buildup. The US has been weak for too long while world order is going in the toilet and the whole world is getting lit on fire. It's time to bring them is garbage under control with the big stick.

If the US did nothing, what's next? The US would have been seen as a paper tiger, that's what happens. Now Taiwan goes up in smoke in a few years, and all hell breaks loose on the Korean peninsula and Japan.

Talk is cheap. If there is real fear that the US will act on its warnings, it will absolutely make others think twice before making bold moves to break international order.

So now we bomb DPRK, Pakistan, and Russia because they have nukes? Why are countries with atomic bombs policing other countries who may or may not have them?!?! There’s this thing called diplomacy and a thing called intelligence. Maybe the depraved madman in the White House should try those more reasonable, safer, tactics first? You don’t bomb a country without a concept of a plan! WTF!

I'm not happy that he is winging it like this but we should absolutely be policing countries that are purusing nuclear weapons. And we should do so violently is necessary.

Or, hear me out...use diplomacy with our allies to strike deals and maintain peace.

It worked for Obama and iran.

Trump shredded that peace deal and wasted good will amongst Iran and our allies.

The idea that this should be dealt with "violently" just shows what kind of temperment is really needed to deal with these situations, sadly, no one in the administration has that temperment.

We used diplomacy for years and they have been progressing their nuclear program and now they are weeks or days away from enriching enough uranium foir a bomb. Slowing their progress is not enough, we have to roll back their clock or better yet eliminate theur nuclear program.

None of our allies are complaining about the strike. They are all saying we shouldn't escalate beyond that to regime change or anything like that but none of our allies are not mad that we destroyed Fordow.

uh, do you know about the JCPOA? Maybe read up on it. It was diplomacy. It was working, and then Trump ripped it up. And here we are.

The purpose of JCPOA was to enable Iran to move towards a nuclear weapon, putting pressure on Israel to accept a two state solution, possibly 1967 borders or less.

It was a spectacular success,
So spectacular.
It was totally fabulous.
They call them bustem bunkers.

They’re called bustem bunkers
And they were deployed,
And deployed very strongly, on Iraq.
They’re not nice. Not nice.

I want to thank and congratulate Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu,
He’s terrific.

Nobody owes you proof. You lost the election, get over it. Trump and Israel will bomb them as many times as it takes. They have air superiority. I would say F the fancy bombs, break out the B 52s and go old school. Quantity has its own Quality.

Some expert on cnn earlier noted a recent NYT story that never gained any traction…

Apparently when the international agency flagged the issue with Iran making progress on nuclear munitions, an Iranian official basically responded by saying, “So what? We are proceeding and are safeguarding our resources in a secret hiding place.”

I’m obviously paraphrasing, but the expert on CNN basically said the international report gave Iran a heads up and time to hide their stuff, so who knows if we actually decimated the right targets?

Again: this was cnn, not some rightwing war hawk chat. And my takeaway was that intel obviously confirmed Iran had made sufficient progress to prompt concern, and the international report sounding the alarm probably gave Iran a head start to move things around. Moreover, as the expert flagged: why didn’t the NYT article gain traction? Why didn’t anyone cover this a couple weeks ago?

Right. So we have spent hundreds of millions, destabilizing the region even further, for nothing. Great job Trump.

Eh, not exactly?

Did you miss the part about the international agency flagging Iran’s progress and the Iranian official basically saying they have hidden their stuff?

I mean, that’s the worrisome part…along with the fact that nobody seemed to take a deeper dive (in terms of the media).

Why should the Iranian people suffer the consequences of the 1979 revolution when many weren’t even alive then? I think the people that talk about bombs so cavalierly should take a look at what explosions do to the human body. It’s like an Ar-15 times 1,000.

Guess what. The Iranian media and Russia Today have teamed up to push your narrative. Congratulations!
