U.S. War against Iran

Looks like we are repositioning our ships and preparing for war. I’m concerned about blowback. What attacks do you think will happen here. Don’t care about Israel/Gaza aspect, which is another thread. Apparently this is why Trump left the G7 early.

I think the world is more prone to skirmishes/wars in general because the US isn't there to guard the peace. Not to suggest it's our job to do so but historically, as a strong foreign power, we've had some sway in what happens globally. With Trump in charge, nobody really respects us.

Ukraine v Russia, Israel v Iran/Gaza, just wait for China v ? and India v Pakistan round 2.

I also don't think Israel would have done anything not condoned by Trump's admin. Whether US gets involved a little or a lot, the US will be involved in some regard.

The "iran is close to having nukes" mantra has already been debunked. If trump follows Netanyahu down this path, he owns it 100% lock stock and barrel.

Add to it, I don't think this is what the recent 61,000 enlisted folks signed up for, given trump's proclamations of being an isolationist country.

I hate that there is no one who is ever able to push back against neocons and the endless war funding. If you have a huge part of the economy that makes weapons, you find ways to keep it in demand.

Trump only cares about Israel. He will spend all our money and send American to die for Israel. While at the same time destroy Ivy League school for Israel.

This is ridiculous. If our foreign police is making the world save for Israel, American jews of fighting age need to be drafted in to front line units and an Israel tax must be paid to cover the cost.

Oh this is not neocon. This is maga and every Republican pushing this. Cut benefits to social security, Medicare, Medicaid and the VA and spend that money on Israel.

Jon Stewart is totally right. The only reason a few maga oppose invading Iran is because they want the US military deployed in the US killing and bombing blue American cities.

Jon Stewart is saying he wants the US to attack Iran. He is siding with the neocons. His audience doesn’t buy it; you can hear the laughs fade as they realize what he’s saying.

I’m a Harris-voting Democrat and I think attacking Iran will lead to the downfall of the US. The MAGA base — and this is most of them — are not wrong about this.
