What made you think he wouldn't get away with it again? Israel has been saying that Iran almost had nukes since before 1980

Of course Iran isn’t powerful enough. But China is. And China would be delighted to attack the US when we have expended our key resources on behalf of Israel.

A. Iran is going to have a nuclear weapon at some point, it stands to reason. They're enriching uranium and are very alone and threatened in the Middle East. Any nation would try to build a bomb in their place.

B. Israel, with the billions in US aid, is dealing with Iran. No one in their right mind wants Iran to have nuclear capabilities, not even Israel's enemies in the Middle East, who all hate Iran due to religious differences. Israel is fighting the world's proxy war against Iran.

C. America MUST NOT INTERVENE beyond sending money, intercepting missiles and sharing intelligence. BTDT in Iraq with Bush's "WMDs".

No, we shouldn’t get involved.

The complicating factor is that Israel already started the war, decimated Iran’s defenses ,and humiliated the regime. So now if there is some kind of ceasefire with the regime and its nuclear facilities still in place, they are going to absolutely race to a nuclear weapon ASAP.

Israel I’m sure did this on purpose to goad Trump into getting involved. They did most of the dirty work of kicking the door open and now want us to come in and drop GBU-57s.

I believe they have some kind of plan B for destroying the buried nuclear facilities if Trump says no, but looks like Trump is taking the bait. It would be really dumb to make the success of this entire operation dependent on the whims of DJT.
