So gross. My dad didn't spend 30 years in the Navy to watch this country devolve into his granddaughters having less rights than his daughters and our armed services run by a morning TV host. I'm ok with his experience. They have had many other cabinet secretaries with less experience. He's even supervised many more people than most senators. The important thing is his vision for the future of the DoD. And the truth is, his vision is exactly what we need. This county has gotten so far away from providing the services we need to provide. If we concentrate only on this basic functions of government, then we will have enough money to take care of the things that are most necessary. We have gotten into such runaway spending that we can't take care of hurricane victims or help our own citizens. The truth is, if managed correctly we could be taxed half as much and get twice as much done. This is why a "community activist" should NEVER be elected into any office. We need sound management and good financial practices. As far as the military goes, Hegspeth is correct. We need to get away from this DEI crap and hire and promote the best of the best with ABSOLUTE blindness to color or gender.
