No it's not - the Senate just confirmed a DEI hire. There is no other way to justify such an unqualified nominee. |
Hegseth is the Secretary of Defense, a position unattainable for all the cacklers here. Let that marinate for a bit. |
We are all more qualified than him. |
Maybe if we drink a lot more and click our heels together. This guy is the villain of a Tom Clancy. He will do what ever is political expedient and leave dead us soldiers everywhere. |
Oh please. Marinating on it is precisely what leads to the irrefutable conclusion that our Senate has just shown us that Secretary of Defense is a position that is even attainable for a drunken teenage frat boy, provided he's caught the attention of an old geezer with dementia and orange spray tan. This is a clown show. |
So then DEI is not an effective measure of leadership? I can’t tell if you think DEI is good or bad. |
I’m not surprised that they confirmed him, but I like that they dragged JD into the mess too. Any chance to keep his hands dirty is ok by me. |
His profile sounds similar to “I like beer” Kavanaugh. It is almost like Trump has a type. |

Sure but did he ever host a Fox News weekend show while fall down drunk? I rest my case. |

Look I was opposed to Kav and am still disgusted by those proceedings - but, he was qualified. He had a gross background that should have been more fully investigated; he has some questionable financial issues that should have been investigated. But the guy is a serious lawyer and judge who is capable of doing the job he was nominated for. He and Handsy Hedgehog share a love of the booze - though I don't think we heard any evidence Kav is still an alcoholic. That's about it. Otherwise, it's more like Aileen Cannon - just incredibly unqualified. You know, to run the largest military in the world. Good luck to us all! |
I don't know who is more disgusting, Hegseth or his idiot wife. Wait until he puts troops in city streets
|
I’m sure his first order of business will be to mess with anyone who wronged him in his military career. Eventually, he will get to actually managing our Dept of Defense. |
