CCL2 is kinda a mess. DD has had 2 of first 3 games cancelled, presumably b/c opposing club doesn't have a team at 08. And now CCL is telling clubs not to rely on the schedule they posted online at gotsoccer.

They were having these problems before the pandemic. Parents need to start asking their clubs some hard questions. Otherwise you will not be playing many games. It seems many close in clubs are just not interested in fielding teams in the CCL2. We had a lot of cancellations before the pandemic.

I guess they are not #2 in VA like the loudoun parent said not even in #2 in Northern VA 🤣😂

Yeah they are not as good as Richmond United or VDA. Maybe #3.

MYS and LS are the best 07s, better than RU and VDA. In that order for best in state.

Yep it has been said over and over for the 08’s. It’s Richmond clearly top, VDA close second, gap Loudoun, big gap rest of the field. This does not consider Maryland teams which would add 2-3 teams below Richmond but above Loudoun.

I'm sure people won't agree but Arlington 08 team is AT LEAST 3rd in NOVA. They added a bunch of new players this year and have a new good coach who has really progressed the team. You can follow the team on instagram. There's a dad who posts videos of the team. So far their only loss this season is to Richmond United which was in a scrimmage and was close.
