Nobody should be paying 1st/2nd team prices for 3rd teams or beyond, nor should clubs really push that but thats not the reality of club soccer in America as a business. If a kid gets an offer for the 3rd team or beyond anywhere, rec soccer is likely a better option.

Went to tryouts on Tuesday, not many kids at tryouts, They were all just okay compared to others same age group at different tryouts,
DD got an offer from Valor that night to be on the Pre-ecnl team, We declined the offer and decided to stay with our old club. After seeing kids at tryouts Valor pre-ecnl will have a whole bunch of weak players

We were at the 2011 tryouts last night and there were some talented girls. But like pp, its hard to know who is serious and who is just shopping around.

There were a LOT of 2011 boys leaving tryouts when we left. I was surprised because I read on here that there were only two teams for that age on the boys side.

If you pay enough, you can attract good coaches. I don't know how they seem able to fill the jobs for the higher teams with qualified coaches but not the lower teams. They should charge less for teams that get less.

Not in the age group but in a different one and the parents on that team LOVE Al. I have not idea how many kids they have. You could call or email and ask him how many he is taking.

This season there are only 2 2013G teams…Coach Al was the white team coach. They now have posted 3 teams so I would assume the new White team “Gold” will have a lower roster.
