It’s surreal to see how unprofessional in tone and graphics the Trumpist, slanted poll organizations are. It’s just unbelievable to me that thinking people of any political persuasion would look at that kind of garbage and feel good about his campaign or himself.

Seems like MAGA'ts have been trolling this thread. I cannot believe anything on this thread anymore. There is no way it would dissuade me to vote... so it seems like #2 is the reason they are doing it.

DP there are a lot of polls done to pump up Trump. So one should be very selective on which polls you think are actually non bias.

That is also a true point about the media. However the mainstream/non-RW media doesn’t cover the junk polls. But far right Twitter and social media goes crazy for them, so does the Trump campaign, and they are discussed on Fox and NewsMax etc. as well. And if there’s anything we know after nearly 10 LONG YEARS of Candidate Trump, it’s that he loves it when people kiss up to him and deliver good news and kiss the ring. Hence all the great polls for him by less than reputable/accurate pollsters. Does he know or care that they are less than accurate? Of course not.

I think number one will cause more Democrats to make the effort to vote because they see it is close. If the blue lead looks big, they would get complacent and some won’t make the effort.

Trump is probably going to win. There has been too much erosion among Democratic leaning voter blocks. Latino and Black voters are both showing less support for Harris in 2024 than Biden in 2020.
