On Saturday SSSAS win over Mount de Sales Academy IAAM league (they also have a Notre Dame commit and several D1 commits) score 16-10

This past week the Saints played 2 games
Thursday -SSSAS also played Episcopal HS and won.
Tuesday -SSSAS also played Holton Arms and won.

First of all, it's IAAM. And in fact, SSAS has played one: St. Mary's, and beat them handily. I will point out that St. Mary's is ranked higher than Notre Dame prep, the only IAAM school that Potomac played and lost to (you are a Potomac dad, right?). Visi really took on the IAAM and does not to appear to have done very well. I will agree that SSSA did not take on the competition that Visi did. However, in the end, the only way to actually determine who the strongest in the ISL is are the head to heads--and so far, SSSA is the only undefeated team in the ISL. It really isn't true that any one of those teams can win any given day.

My mistake, I guess it was just Potomac that lost to the mid IAAM. Visi lost theirs, but they are the only ISL team to take on McDonogh. Again, just evidence that local parents are putting just a little too much into their kids' lacrosse and are in for a surprise when they get to real lacrosse in college.

Glenelg Country 1-9
NDP 5-5
Mt de Sales dropped to B conference last year.

Results against St Mary’s and NDP are solid but winning against the top four is what matters. B conference is not even close to A. Glenelg Country is not the even close to the team they were two years ago. They will be in B next season.

ISL and WCAC Playoff seedings to be determined this week:

--On the ISL side, things could still be altered by the results of this week's games. Visi plays both SSSAS and Potomac this week, on Tuesday and Friday, respectively.

SSSAS controls their destiny and wraps up the #1 seed with a win against Visi. (They still play Maret, but should be okay there.)

Potomac can wrap up the number 2 seed with a win against Visi on Friday, but could fall to 3 with a loss.

SR should win out against Episcopal and wait to see if they get the 3 or 4 seed based on the results of Visi's game this week.

There may be some tiebreak rules that come into play in the event of a threeway tie, but that would require Visi to win both matchups. We will see.

For the WCAC, the top four seeds will be decided Wednesday and Thursday:

--GC and SJC, both undefeated in conference, meet in Olney to determine the #1 seed. GC will be the prohibitive favorite. MH's team has won 9 straight after playing tough Baltimore and Philly teams to open the season. SJC is 10-2 since it's early season gauntlet, losing only OOC to Visi and Archbishop Spalding in that stretch.

--PVI and BI battle it out for the #3 and #4 seeds at PVI's "The Luke" stadium. Comparative results don't provide a lot to go on, as they essentially won and lost by similar margins, except for BI's surprisingly close win over AHC. Will give the edge to PVI due to home field advantage.

So silly. SR kept in all starters and MV played lots of bench with starters out pretty much after half. But ok. Just as good. Did you watch?
