What's with all the positive Covid cases in staff at Williamsburg?

ventilation lady and smart restart peeps - I hope they give up. Schools have been closed far too long. They won already. Let the kids back full-time, in person or keep your damn kids remote..

Thanks for sharing, good to know the system is working the way it’s supposed to.

Not sure about that --

I didn't see any contacts reported on the dashboard yesterday, not sure about today, haven't looked

The limits of the qualtrics reports have already been explained earlier in the thread. If you don’t read, we can’t help you.

Moreover, the important part here is that when cases are identified, APS acts quickly to notify contacts and minimize the risk of spread within the school. Giving the public numbers after the fact about how many people were notified is a far lesser consideration, and is more about people’s perceived control over the situation than about actual institutional control over it.

I read it yesterday! It wasn't on there.

We know you did, ventilation lady. We also saw you post manically on the AEM thread today about the data (really you don't need to reply multiples times to your own posts). Anyhow, the qualtrics report does not show parents who have been told they are a close contact but haven't completed the screener. It's not some mystery or coverup. The data will catch up if people report.

Ok, sorry, I'm not this ventilation lady person. I don't read the dashboard all the time. I find it confusing frankly. I am wondering why the cases keep disappearing and why cases I know about are not on there.

I have an acquaintance who said her family was exposed outside school. They didn't report because their family tested negative. The kid goes in person.

I’m not PP but plenty of people under 65 are dying of the disease if they have underlying conditions. And they are still finding neurological effects in some people, even now kids, six months after infection. You might not think your kid will die but still don’t want them to get infected and either bring it home to kill someone in your house or be one of the 1 in 12 who experiences long term effects afterwards. BUT STILL WANT YOUR KID AND OTHER KIDS TO GO TO SCHOOL and for school to start full time in the fall thank goodness for the vaccines!

Do ventilation lady and so-called lawyer lady (and hubs) actually have paying jobs? With the time they spend paralysis analysis everything APS, just to keep all of our kids out of school? Shame on all of them.

Nobody is trying to keep your kids out of school. Nobody.

But what about a little bit of Monica in your life? I’m not sure how many days she is good for but I understand she can mambo like crazy.

Our kids need to be in in-person school five days a week. Period. Some kids may be doing okay at home two to four days a week, but most aren't. Let the SmartRestart people stay virtual, and allow the rest of our children learn in their best environment too.

Shame on you too.

You're oddly obsessed, and you're not rational. Your kids are in school. You will never be happy.

You are spending way too much time online trolling and bullying. This is a pattern for you.

PLEASE go get yourself some mental health treatment. This isn't good for you or your kids.

Shame on me? I want my kids in school full time and have done zero things to prevent that. I’ve also been a big advocate of mitigation measures and vaccines to help others feel comfortable with the safety of schools. Shame on you if you’re just blaming everyone for problems that are not being caused by the people you’re blaming.

Look at these numbers dropping. Nice job vaccinating, Arlington!

We have mostly yellows & blues on the APS dashboard.

I am waiting for the people stalking the people stalking the dashboard to say something about it.

What's so wild about the Smart Restart people is that why do they care so much? Their kids are virtual. Let the rest of our children have a good school year.

Most of the teachers I've spoken to are so happy to be back in class now that they have their vaccine. They hated virtual, and this is what they do best. Teach in person. They're ready for next fall, when concurrent education will be a thing of the past. Even these "outbreaks" statistically won't affect them.

As someone said above, SmartRestart peeps really do think they are experts at COVID. But even the study posted above they misinterpreted.

I don't trust them. It's almost like they want everyone to go back to virtual education for their own selfish reasons. No thank you.
