DA ending is because of Covid-19 AND the ongoing law suit with the US Womens' team. Thanks Megan Rapinoe and others for screwing up many young girls soccer lives...

When I see clubs post some of the app numbers that show 20+ hours in a week, I smell BS. My kid trains 3 + hours a day, but not just the soccer app.

If it bothers your kid and they are doing work have her document that. The app is just a Guide if your child is doing three hours a day still have your child document those hours in the app.

She is. The entire team has to submit training logs weekly.

Who remembers when FCV and Loudoun merged and held massive tryouts at Evergreen between the two existing teams in each age group (plus random outsiders)?

What percent of Loudoun Red players were absorbed into the FCV teams.

Dear ex-DA Parent:
Reach out to your nearest ECNL club if your DD is interested in participating highest level of soccer. Any ex-DA team will have players doing so. If it's your DS, consider the best club in the area or MLS academy is DS is that good.

So FCV will announce today that they want to move their EX-DA teams into the EDP league to play other EX-DA teams that didn't get an ECNL bid (MD- NY teams of lesser quality).

The FCV 04 team currently has 4 former Loudoun Red 04 members on their squad.

That is 21 percent.

The FCV 05 team has about the same percent (give or take).

Just so you know...the Loudoun 04 and 05 teams were very good at that time. And those are the percentages absorbed.

Those are the percentage when the head of girls soccer for Loudoun personally ran tryouts with the Technical Director of FCV and it was entire teams tryout out.

I always new the rec leagues were going to make out in the whole deal.

Never really cared before but now.. looking at McLean ECNL they better hope like crazy they get some DA players. With the exception of the 18/19 team, the other 4 age groups are TERRIBLE!
