There will be no fall soccer.

Get a clue yes there will be.

If there is no summer MLB and no fall NFL or college football, there will be no fall soccer.

You get those kinds of crowds at your youth soccer games? Wow! Please don’t be this stupid.

Yes you are right! We can play soccer with social distancing while playing on teams made up of kids from 6-10 different schools and playing other teams from out of state? Seems like a plan! Think of how many parents would lose their minds if travel soccer became a possession game. Not many kids can play that tiki taki game.

You've been listening to Henny Penny I see. Very well. There will probably be an RL spot or two open for you when you're ready to commit. It's ugly, but that is how it will work. This is youth soccer of course. I expect that the forecast for sports will become clear by June and pending that, there may be some contingent payment plans offered.

Ok, you ahole coach. Posting on here scaring parents so you can keep your job when others laid off. Shame on you. What a racket.

You can spot the posers on here setting the tone for their club. Youth sports never cares about the kids. Just take their families money and offer us juggling competitions on your twitter feed.

Clearly crazy ecnl soccer dad. Don’t fall for his sh**

Hi Coach!

The breakup of DA makes it easier not to worry about committing for Fall. I think there will be different players joining different teams and clubs and that none of the rosters they are trying to get parents to commit to are realistic. It all matters who is on my DC's team now that they are no longer DA, at least on the higher teams. Once players can train together following vaccine development, then there will be lots of opportunities for players to get back in the mix. There will be all sorts of "supplemental" tryouts. Clubs will be racing to refund themselves and going after players and money that didn't commit in Spring. If soccer doesn't get going until summer or Fall in 2021, then at least we won't be pissed off that we dropped another several thousand on our DCs until then. That's the thought that really scares me. I don't want to have to fight a former DA club for a refund when they have shown that they will keep my money for Spring even though they can't offer a DA product, or any product, this Spring.

You so crazy. If it's so bad that soccer can't "get going" for another 18 months, there will be no one with money to pay for soccer.

Focus on what is going on with the colleges. There is sadly talk that right now will be the new norm for a long time. Spring 2021 would be great, but definitely nothing happening this Fall. Total bummer I know.

Not a good time for both HS and college juniors and seniors as their final two years to shine are facing real uncertainty.

Probably teams should be playing locally for a while until it is possible to go back to normal at reduced club fees.

I have heard that as well. Because of social distancing and no Fall season, they are looking at Spring 2021 as best case and Fall 2021 as worst case to begin at least practicing. They are trying to work realistic scenarios and not these optimistic ones that magically in 4 months players will be in competitive local matches again. We have a lot of Zoom soccer to pay for in the next 12 months.
