Since Lori and her DH never went to college, maybe they had FOMO for their children regarding college. It could also be that they did not know what the actual college application process is?

Yes, that must be it. They thought paying money to a fake charity, setting up a fake photo shoot of their daughter on a rowing machine, lying about her athletic ability, and getting her diagnosed with a learning disability was what everyone did when applying to college.

Maybe it Hollywood they do. Neither LL nor her husband went to college per the daughter.

The Kuschners used the legal and more expensive backdoor. Plenty of celebrities, politiciasns etc give mega donations (multi million sometimes) to Universities to help get their kids in. That is totally legal. These celebs paid less money for an illegal backdoor that did not benefit the University.

I am actually not opposed to the legal back door. I went to a top University and my classes in my major were always on a bell curve. I needed the rich partiers to keep my grades up. Those rare times an exam was too easy or we didn't have any rich kids who paid their way in, a 90 was a B instead of A-. The rich kids were more than happy to get a D and they were all pleasant, maybe a little entitled, but not competitive and cut throat. A good friend of mine got a practically free ride on a scholarship set up by a wealthy family. Now he is quite successful and gives back to the community from which he came.

She ended up not getting in or waitlisted I can’t remenber which but she had a tearful video on Instagram regarding the decision.

Oh wow! I'm glad her parents didn't do any of this bribery because they definitely could have.

Sometimes families will offer a school a donation and the school will then require a minimal ACT to be able to let the student in. So, maybe they tried a legal offer of a donation and legal prep, but the child couldn't make the scores and they decided to keep it legal and let it go.

Kimora's had legal problems. Kimora's dad had legal problems. Kimora's new husband has been banned from the securities industry. Russel's had all sorts of rape and assault allegations thrown at him.

So yeah, they have quite the history. Maybe they tried and failed, or maybe they were already under too close scrutiny.

I watched Olivia Jade's (Loughlin's daughter) latest fashion haul video and it appears that Olivia has a big spring break trip to the Bahama's planned with her BFFs. I wonder if she'll have to cancel now.

You're probably right...they seem to have a lot of legal issues. Her daughter will probably end up at USC..I believe they live in California.

Maybe William Macy wasn’t acting in Fargo. He really is that dumb. Btw, is he throwing Felicity under the bus? Indictees day he was involved, but he has not been charged or arrested.

Lori L- dumb, just dumb. $500k for not even Harvard and for a kid that publicly states she doesn’t want to be there. Fake Crew recruit, come on!

These dumbshits deserve to go to jail.

Doubt they'll serve jail time. I've written Crown Media which own Hallmark and told them to get rid of Lori who is on a lot of their shows acting all pious and holier than thou.

This made me LOL

most likely they didnt.

She has had so much work done; I watched her on hallmark recently and it was very distracting. But obviously appearance is everything to her.

Appearance is important to everyone

Loughlin's time has largely passed, but I think she has a much better chance of rehabilitating herself on a talk show or something.

I got such a kick out of seeing Felicity Huffman getting booked. No amount of punishment can amount to the public humiliation and shame that will be cast upon them. I also read that she asked if she could turn herself in vs. getting taken from her house??

The government was like NOPE!!!!! Come with us ma'am.

I'm totally enjoying this.

Not to everyone. Not to this extent, where appearance is more than important, it’s everything.

I think Lori knows her girls will be successful no matter what, but having a college degree is a status marker in many social circles. I think in the Kardashian circle it's not a thing. Although, I would not be surprised if Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Kylie's kids all go to college.

It’s not just a college degree — it has to be an elite college. Loughlin’s husband made clear that Arizona State would not suffice.
