The Kuschners used the legal and more expensive backdoor. Plenty of celebrities, politiciasns etc give mega donations (multi million sometimes) to Universities to help get their kids in. That is totally legal. These celebs paid less money for an illegal backdoor that did not benefit the University.

I am actually not opposed to the legal back door. I went to a top University and my classes in my major were always on a bell curve. I needed the rich partiers to keep my grades up. Those rare times an exam was too easy or we didn't have any rich kids who paid their way in, a 90 was a B instead of A-. The rich kids were more than happy to get a D and they were all pleasant, maybe a little entitled, but not competitive and cut throat. A good friend of mine got a practically free ride on a scholarship set up by a wealthy family. Now he is quite successful and gives back to the community from which he came.[/quote]
