No they haven't been arrested, just charged.

I read an article that said that Huffman was arrested and Laughlin agreed to surrender.

This must have been going on for years. I bet quite a few filthy rich parents are squirming today.

lol, no. if you grew up with money or close to those who did, you know that this is par for the course. what these idiots did was hire someone and did it all on the shady, illegal side. should have just made donations to the institutions where they wanted their kids to go instead of trying to keep it hush, hush.

i graduated from a private in the area and know plenty of kids who were only admitted to ivies due to their family connections and donations, not grades. they were the same kids whose parents had to make big donations to the private to keep them there when they got in trouble or when their grades began falling.

have you ever been to an auction at a private school where someone with a name you didn't recognize won a big prize? the person who actually won that prize was the headmaster or other administrator and it was paid for by a parent.

Doubtful. Most know to do it the legal way by just making a large donation.

These people just like desperate, clueless idiots. Probably mostly new money who don't know how to play the game.

Everyone has to work as hard as anyone else to get into college. These celebrities don't get special exceptions and neither do their children.

Hahahaha. It's funny that you think this.

I predict this more or less spells the end for Huffman, and possibly William H. Macy. They've always had a righteousness/authentic vibe - this kills that. Also, disappointing.

Loughlin's time has largely passed, but I think she has a much better chance of rehabilitating herself on a talk show or something.

Loughlin should be thankful that Fuller House is done.

Doubt it for Loughlin. She's one of the Hallmark channel's darlings. No way they keep her on after this! Not sure what it means for Fuller House/Netflix.

Right? Lots of people get special exceptions. Legacy admissions, parents who make huge donations so their kid can get accepted, parents who work their connections--many people get special treatment based on their family's money, fame, and connections. It's just that these people broke the law; others manage to do it legally. It's all variations on the same game, though.

Fuller House was already canceled, so no worries there.

They may or may not pull the episodes but she didn't kill anyone so doubt it.
