MAGA teen bused in from a Catholic school harasses Indigenous People's marcher. Vile.

Glad this wasn't a violent interaction. A kid being a punk.

He should be made to apologize, in person, to this man. Maybe the kid can actually learn something from him.

In some cultures, our elders are respected. Not so much in the US culture.

Have you ever been at a Mass in which the server says “And let us pray for all our elected officials especially those who support “life””?

I have. A lot of masses like that.

I wonder what the numbers would look like if they separated white Catholic vs. Hispanic Catholic. My experience is that white Catholics like Trump almost as much as their evangelical brethren. It’s pretty gross

Therrs an article floating around that quotes the mom extensively and she actually calls it ‘fake news’.

I would like to have seen how this started--were the kids standing there when the Indigenous People arrived--or did the kid walk up to get in his face. Obnoxious yes.

Look also at the kids around him, his classmates, grinning. Did any of them call him out and tell him to stop?

The IG post refers to people being pushed and disrespected but none of that is evident in the clip. Apparently the boys were all gathered at the Lincoln Memorial first.

This is a publicity stunt being milked by left wing activists.

Nope.

Phillips, who was singing the American Indian Movement song that serves as a ceremony to send the spirits home, said he noticed tensions beginning to escalate when the teens and other apparent participants from the nearby March for Life rally began taunting the dispersing indigenous crowd.

A few people in the March for Life crowd began to chant “Build that wall, build that wall,” he said.

“It was getting ugly, and I was thinking: ‘I’ve got to find myself an exit out of this situation and finish my song at the Lincoln Memorial,’?” Phillips recalled. “I started going that way, and that guy in the hat stood in my way and we were at an impasse. He just blocked my way and wouldn’t allow me to retreat.”

So, he kept drumming and singing, thinking about his wife, Shoshana, who died of bone marrow cancer nearly four years ago, and the various threats that face indigenous communities around the world, he said.

“I felt like the spirit was talking through me,” Phillips said.

Source? All of the exit polls I look at have Trump winning Catholics by a comfortable margin

That school is toxic, and dare I say, that "Christian" school must teach hate to produce so many young men like this, not that dissimilar to those extreme Muslim mosques.

I’m a Catholic and would be very, very hesitant to send my kid to most Catholic all-boys HSs. They breed entitlement.

Just going to jump in on this because both of my nephews went to an inner city catholic boys Jesuit HS. They are both extremely humble kids who are pursuing degrees in public service fields and have years of dedicated service to certain charities - extending beyond their high school graduations. Their friend base is the most diverse group of people who have ever been introduced to my white Irish-American family. I love those friends and they are welcomed openly to our annual family parties.

I’m appalled by these boys’ behavior. I hope they are expelled.

But I hope people do not clump all Catholic boys schools together with these actions.

It all adds up.

Those who call themselves Christians say that their religion doesn’t stand for the hatred and bigotry peddled by Trump, many Republicans, many evangelicals, etc, but a significant majority of those who call themselves Christians voted for Trump and support his policies.

Those who call themselves Catholics say no real Catholic would condone child sexual abuse, and certainly wouldn’t hide it and reassign those responsible so they can prey on others, and, yet that’s what the entire Catholic hierarchy did for decades on a global basis.

Those who call themselves Catholics now say, “A real Catholic school would teach those boys to behave better, and real Catholic school boys would behave better.

How long do you keep throwing up the “No true Scotsman” argument?

Never claimed they were ‘true’ anything. I just don’t believe is clumping any group of diverse people into any category.

All politics are local.

Don't you think expulsion from school would be the appropriate punishment. What you propose doing sounds as creepy as what he did.

He never gets to hide what he did. Maybe if he apologizes sincerely and makes amends, I’ll reconsider.

The Post just let Phillips write the article. Olivo is an activist pretending to be a journalist. Woodson is a talentless hack.
