What goes through a man’s mind when he sees a woman he’s attracted to?

We’ve been busy being women who don’t think this way— that’s where we’ve been. Duh.

No, it would not bother me. Perfectly normal.

Good question!

Stupid question. No, it doesn’t bother me.

Right -- doesn't bother me either.

In fact, this is the goal. As a man, it means you won.

But the game isn't over, so you can't relax and stop doing the things that attracted her to you in the first place.

My wife periodically complains about being hit on or leered at. I always says that they are pigs but that do have great taste. That seems to calm her down. I definitely take note of very attractive women but rarely are they ever in view long enough for my imagination to run wild. I'm lucky enough to have a very attractive wife who enjoys frequent sex so I don't need to live a sex life vicariously.

I know right? There should be a 5th grade class on this. Men think about sex..... with every single woman he sees who is even remotely attractive. I am shocked at how many women don't get this. Why do you think so many men are always pursuing you? Why do you think your online dating mailbox overflows? Why do you think that you can ask any man alive "wanna f$ck" and 90% will say yes? It's our biological wiring: men have an active sex drive. That's just how we are. If you SERIOUSLY did not realize this until know, welcome to the Matrix.

They get it until they hit the wall, and then they whine about being invisible and start hating on men's "immature" lust for hot young women.

The thing men seem to overlook is that they hit the wall just as hard, and then they are equally as invisible and irrelevant to those hot young women.

Nah. The things that make men attractive - wealth and status - improve with age, and compensate for any decline in looks. Any decline in male looks is easily mitigated at the gym - it's mainly a matter of not being weak and fat.

Meanwhile, the thing that makes women attractive - their looks - declines with age in an inevitable and irreversible way. Sad!

Seriously, the fact that almost all men think about sex when they see a woman is the basis of most marketing, and pretty much the entire porn industry. It’s just a near-constant desire. It’s a wonder we can ever finish a book.

Yeah PP this isn’t true... but it does make me wonder how many times you were rejected in your youth to have such a bitter view of woman now. Sad!

I’ve seen a few contradictions about this so far and need clarification.

Do men think about sex when they see any women in general, or just attractive women ?

Lol! If you really believe this, you are sadly mistaken. Old men are old men, whether or not they hit the gym, and for the most part unattractive. As for money, very very few men have the type of wealth to attract younger women, and those who do are just being used for their money while their hot young wives bang younger, hotter men who can still get it up without a pill on the side. Sad!

Just attractive women -- but attractive is a sliding scale.

If you see a stunner on the street, sure, you're going to go through the progression of sexy-time thoughts.

But let's take the example of, say, your community pool. Probably only one or two stunners there on any given weekend. You tend to see the same women over and over again, though. Almost unconsciously you're making mental notes of which women are the most attractive of that bunch. And before too long you look forward to seeing those women at the pool, and you'll fantasize about them, however fleetingly.

Same thing with the moms at your kids' school. You mentally sort the most attractive of the herd and separate them from the rest. They may not be model good-looking, but they'll do.

It's a biological imperative or something.

Um, there was a study done some years ago that involved giving undergraduate men and women pagers. They were asked to write down what they were thinking about when the pager went off. They were all paged intermittently throughout the day for a week. Turns out sex was far and away the biggest thing on their minds.

Oh, there was no disparity between men and women, either. So stop with the holier than thou crap, ladies.
