What goes through a man’s mind when he sees a woman he’s attracted to?

In a fraction of a second, I've taken note of the uniqueness of her face (soft eyes, skin, smile, the way her hair frames her face), her breast (real, fake, wonderbra, potentially saggy) and pictured her naked (do they stand up perfectly, are they round, what do they look like), I see her skin and fill in what the rest of her looks like (freckles, blemishes, completely smooth). I look at her dress and notice if it does that obvious change in texture thing when a woman has on spanx or a waist trainer. That leads to more visualization of her naked. I work my way down further and look for underwear imprints (period panties, narrow cut, thong, or none of the above). More sexual thoughts based on that. Then I look at her legs. Smooth? Scarred from tomboy days? Heels are my favorite because I love the way they change the definition of the calf. I imagine some form of sex. Not on purpose. It just happens.

This whole process takes a second. If I talk to her then that's another process stacked on top of that.

So is it safe to assume that the amount of looks women receive from men on a daily basis are all related to sexual thoughts??

Interesting. Men, do you think this way about women you see fairly frequently and find attractive, like acquaintances, kids’ friends’ moms, etc? Or more just when you see a random attractive woman in the grocery store?

Not all of them. Only looks directed at attractive women.

If they're not ugly, I have these thoughts about more or less all of them. Like some of the PPs said -- these thoughts can be processed pretty quickly, so it's not like it takes a lot of time out of my day. I can also be thinking about them in non-sexual ways at the same time.

If the women here are being honest, your instintive, immediate thoughts about attractive men are not chaste and pious. We might not automatically flash to x rated scenes, but we aren't thinking "gosh, he's handsome. I wonder if we share the same values."
