PP here. I haven't even seen it yet! I'm at work, and I've been following the live written commentary on the BBC website (which I highly recommend, by the way). I'm looking forward to watching the second half of this game tonight with DH and DS. DS has already had a couple of big disappointments so far this World Cup (he likes Argentina and Germany), so he'll be so excited to watch a team he likes (Belgium) win a thrilling game. |

| Very entertaining game Japan vs Belgium. Proud of Japan. They could have beaten Belgium if they were 2 inches taller on average. |

I'm glad they are out. And what a great comeback by Belgium! I was talking to my DC about that very thing: playing to the last minute and coming from behind to win. |

| No flopping, acting, intentional foul or fake injuries. No parking buses. No penalty kicks. Belgium won it fair and square, and Japan lost it with dignity and respect. Both gave many amazing moments. Kudos to both teams! |

| I’m trying to understand where the hate for Japan comes from. What did Senegal do or what stats did they have to support this bs going around that they deserved it more than Japan. It’s pure conjecture. |
