I had to miss the entirety of the game, but I was able to watch the last 10 minutes. Awesome. |

Yes. But, Spain absolutely dominated that game. Beautiful possession. Without that fake penalty at the start of the game, Spain would ha e rightfully won. Their goalie also f@cked upbthe second goal which Ronaldo shot directly to him. Ronaldo’s last goal was absolutely beautiful. |

My 10-year old came home from soccer practice tonight and refused to go to bed until we finished the dvr’d Spain v Portugal. Amazing soccer. We are all in. I had a sabbatical in Europe in 2002 and followed every game. Watched Germany vs US in a German pub and my husband and I were the only ones in Berlin in US jerseys. My German best friend sat at another table  .
I love the World Cup. Kids get out of school next week and thankfully I work from home so plotting our venues for watching the next month. |

The US being in it or not is...the most boring topic.
There is a level you must meet to get to the WC. They didn’t, and tough luck. It would be entitled to think otherwise. I will greatly enjoy watching some of the best soccer in the world over the coming weeks. |
