Agree. Also female politicians.

Female anything, really. And other women are the WORST.

So wait a minute; the reason some didn't find her funny was because she is a woman?? Do you people hear yourselves? Ah yes, and that's the reason HRC lost the election. Because she's a woman. Unbelievable.

Signed,
A WOMAN

Absolutely true.

What does Wolf's speech have to do with Me Too? The Me Too Movement is about sexual harassment and assault. Criticizing the actions of SHS who is a public official is not harassment.

You're being purposely obtuse. You know exactly what that PP meant. Liberals, as a whole, would have exploded in outrage (as usual) had the target of those jokes been a liberal female.

And what prominent liberal women have done even a fraction of what Sarah Sanders, or Kellyanne Conway, or any of the others have done? I'll wait.

They behave shamefully on a daily basis. They deserved every last slam they got.

Right? Hello?!

I say this as a moderate and a swing voter.

I did agree with this:
"You guys are obsessed with Trump. Did you used to date him? Because you pretend like you hate him, but I think you love him. I think what no one in this room wants to admit is that Trump has helped all of you. He couldn't sell steaks or vodka or water or college or ties or Eric, but he has helped you.
He's helped you sell your papers and your books and your TV. You helped create this monster, and now you're profiting off of him."

Liberals are *obsessed* with Trump; and that includes the media. Oh, and DCUM, of course.

True and the irony is, she could apply the same to herself. I and many others have never heard of this "comedian" nobody, and all of a sudden she's splashed all over the media, simply for spouting the same old sanctimonious, self-aggrandizing bullshit to a room of people who agrees with her.

Brilliant and every pointed joke was well deserved and hit its mark dead on.

I don't get the outrage. Did Wolf say about the current administration that is false? Did she misrepresent anything? NO. So don't be upset at her, be upset at the people (in the WH) who gave her the ammo in the first place.

Wolf unapologetically laid out the craziness. People are only upset because it's true and it can't be explained away.

"ivanka is as useful to women as an empty box of tampons" was probably my favorite joke of the night. I'm super liberal and didn't like the abortion joke except the part about republicans being against it unless it's for their mistress.

"He (Pence) thinks abortion is murder. Which first of all don't know it till you try it. And when you do try it, really knock it. You gotta get that baby out of there."

WTF???

Truly deranged, and only helping boost Trump.

The point seems to have whooshed over your head. Obviously the room didn't agree with her, that's why this post exists, why there are all the tweets and columns -- the room did not agree with her.

Try again.

Oh yeah and the right really treated her with kid gloves...

Sorry this is the level of our discourse. If you find it highly upsetting maybe vote for a better person next time. The fish rots from the head and all that.

Cringe inducing and creepy.

Anonymous wrote:The White House Correspondents Dinner was supposed to be a place where harsh partisan politics is set aside and the people that work together in media and politics let their hair down and have some good-natured fun. What they did was the opposite of that. It only denigrates one of the few traditions in DC that promotes non partisanship. Now, why would a conservative ever attend? The only time it's going to be possibly funny and not just cruel is if the governing party is liberal.

This nails it.

Do you really think this is an appropriate line in what is supposed to be a light hearted, non-partisan, roast?
