I thought it was funny, but I don't know watch/haven't read A Handmaid's Tale. I did google Aunt Lydia, played by Ann Dowd, who is older than Sandaers but they have a similar face shape.

It is not about appearance, aunt Lydia is a character that worked to enable to oppression of women. She’s like the anti christ for women in handsmaids tale.

I hate bullying and that's what it felt like. But, it's really hard for me to feel sympathy for SHSs. She is an awful person with no moral compass.

The trump administration has been nothing but disgusting from the moment trump started campaigning. His treatment towards women and minorities, his gross nicknames for opponents, his sexual abuse, mocking the disabled.... I find it difficult to find much sympathy. BUT, I do believe we should rise above that. "When they go low, we go high..."

It was edgy, smart, and relevant. For those who offend easily it did. She probably should have cut the abortion joke.. But that’s it’s...everything else was pretty spot on.

Wolf's routine was not really any different from any other WH correspondent's dinner routine. She was cruder, but the comedy was otherwise pretty consistent with what's gone before.

I think at this point we all know "They go low, we go high" is just a saying, not a practice

The abortion joke was disgusting. I'm pro legal abortion but the Left is going too far and are becoming horrible, horrible people.

The news has decided as a whole to claim that Wolf made jokes about Sanders physical appearance, the smokey eye joke definitely wasn't a dig at her appearance so I figured the Aunt Lydia reference must be the culprit.

I thought Wolf's bit, which is only 20 minutes long, was very deft and funny. Go watch it.
