As for your second question, until fairly recent times, White people made up the overwhelming number of immigrants to this country (until 1965) and were about 90% of the population until the 1980's. Of course culture, media, government, etc is going to reflect who the majority of people are in the nation in most circumstances.

It's not bigoted at all. I grew up around a lot of jewish people and I can identify them, the same way I can tell one asian group from another generally, or a west african from an east african.

The native Americans are the best example of what happens when millions of foriegers invade your lands. Your culture and ways are suppressed, you're children are made to feel inferior, foriegers lay claim to the lands your forefathers maintained.
