| Also it was a body double. |
|
RIP Jon... I don't foresee a resurrection.
|
I disagree. Melisandre has conveniently returned to the Wall. And we saw Thoros using the Lord of Light's power way back when to resurrect Lord Beric after he dueled the Hound... |
+1 Why the hell else would she be there? |
Yes, this was quite obvious. You could see the composting around the face on the medium shots. |
AND no Lady Stone Heart, so they have been saving themselves up for another resurrected Stark to take her place... |
| So I've read the books and am on Season 4 in the series. I'm getting the feeling that the HBO show is doing it's own thing |
| It's 630 miles from Winterfell to the Wall. Melisandre's horse must be turbocharged. And she didn't have any supplies or gear. |
Yes. Season 4 is mostly the second half of the third book. Season 5 pulls from books 4 and 5 and also provides information the book readers do not have. Also, many of the more boring storylines from book 4 are omitted and several are consolidated. |
| Does anyone else have a feeling that this is mainly a kind of chess match between Littlefinger (representing human/darkness/selfishness) and Varys (representing divine/reincarnation/light? Also anyone think Varys is possibly in cahoots with the White Walkers and maybe the humans are on the wrong side of things? Of course most characters aren't completely evil or good in this series (which I like). |
Interesting theory. I don't know though...while the White Walkers aren't especially "evil," I think the only good thing about them is you know what to expect from them. All they want is death. I think the "good" undead are those tree elves that showed up when Bran was in trouble. (Are they undead? Or just really long-living? Anyway...) |
In one of the books Arya overhears Varys and Littlefinger conspiring, so I get the sense that the two of them are often, if not always, in cahoots. I don't think any of the humans are allied with the White Walkers, but rather their own internal politics. I think that's kind of the point -- that they are unaware of their real enemy/threat. |
No, they're not undead. They're the "children of the forest." |
That want Headey. A body double was used. |
| Wasn't |
