I had this thought too, because 1) doorway guy stops in the doorway right at the same point that dreads guy starts cutting across the patio, and 2) in the jewelry store video, doorway guy is seen walking a few yards behind Hannah and dreads guy. Why would he have not mentioned dreads guy to the police instead of some guy "with a clean shaven head and goatee"? |
Maybe the doorway guy isn't white? It's hard to tell in that video. |
I am following NBC29 tweets, they are on the scene at the apartment that is being searched. they found evidence in a car that allowed them to get a warrant for the apartment. There is a person of interest who has been identified. Hessian Hills apartments are on the west side of 29, near Barracks road. About 1.5 miles from Copley bridge where Morgan Harrington went missing. They are also searching Belmont, an area in the SE section of Charlottesville, near the CSX tracks and river.

For those of you familiar with Cville, what/where is Hessian Hills? Is it on or near campus? |
Not near campus. It is west of 29, the campus is east. However students travel in that area all the time. There is a huge shopping center near there, Barracks Road. |
At 1:00 AM in the morning. A small college town, who is just hanging around, by themselves, at that time? Just watching people walk by and then following them because he is concerned about them. How old is the guy? Talk to his friends and family and co-workers. I hope they get some professionals on this. With that many people out there have to be someone that knows. and what is with Dave Taylor, owner of the Read it Again Sam book shop, who said police had not ASKED Him for footage. Contrast that with Frieda Tuel who actively helped. Don't think I need to actively walk into Read It Again Sam book shop again. Might have to wait until he personally asks me. What a load of crap. I am hoping this turns out ok. |
I bet it's the apt of the witness who came forward. His story just does not add up based on the video. I think he came forward because he knew they had seen him on the video and he had to cover his butt.
And I think the police played along with his story of seeing the clean-shaven black guy, even broadcasting the description in the media, so that he wouldn't think they really suspected him. |
Evidence in the car? Very concerning. |
This theory would explain why there is no mention of the dreadlock guy. Like others, I think the way the witness ducked into the doorway to observe the scene is hard to explain if his motives were pure. If I were worried about a distressed passerby, I can see stopping whatever I was doing to consider whether the situation merited my intervention, but I certainly wouldn't have the impulse to sneak into a hiding spot to think about it. |
News reports say he had called the tip line prior to that , and hadn't yet been contacted by police. Personally, I'm trying not to jump to any conclusions. The police seem to know what they're doing at this point. |
Press conference at 3 |
uh-oh. that's usually a bad sign. |
If it is a student that is messed up to be a killer so young. |
"Neighbors said police in unmarked cars were in the neighborhood early this morning and took a man from the apartment who matched the description of a man whom police were hoping to question regarding Graham.""

this is a different "person of interest" than the previous one.
