I made 200k in investment banking in nyc right out of b school. most of my friends in nyc probably make $200-500k now.
I never went back after my second child was born. the hours were long and I never saw my baby. I now work a flex schedule and earn about 150k in DC. I work about half what I used to in nyc. |

I work in asset management. It is more like a reporting/accounting role. It isn't glamorous but I get to keep my foot in the door. |
