Have all U9 boys offers gone out? Still haven't heard anything and tryouts were weeks ago.

For those girls that did already get red offers, were you trying out for PA1 & 2 and talking to the coaches about disappointment that you did not make those teams or just generally about where you would be placed?

Spoke with our current coach a couple times about placement and yes we were hoping to get a PA2 offer. After some conversations it did feel like they were looking for bigger more athletic players especially with the age groupings changing, but also that seems to be an Arlington thing for the most part

Thanks for your honesty! It seems like those that were hoping for a higher placement or discussing placement with coaches in detail were given offers early.

My son is u12 - we haven’t heard nor have other kids on his ADP team who tried out. At this point are we waiting until next week?

Just know that higher team doesn’t = better coach. Clubs don’t rate their coaches and then put the “best” one on the top team. Coaches with more years at the club coach higher teams. We are on a “higher” team and our coach is ok. Our neighbors on a lower team rave about their coach.

Yes, they all went out. Email NVU or Villareal. Just because he didn’t make it at U9 doesn’t mean he can’t develop into a beast player. Best of luck.
