Someone on Reddit pointed out that in every picture of the boy he’s wearing a sweater with elbow patches and the girl a sleeveless dress with Mary Janes. A little peculiar.

He doesn't have on a sweater, but he does have elbow pads on his shirt. My mother had to put elbow pads on all my brother's shirts and sweaters when we were a kid. The boy is in dressed like dad, and the girl like mom. Mom is in sleeveless and dad is in long sleeves.

Right, but it's a bit weird that one set is wearing long sleeves and the other is in sleeveless. Kind of seems like two separate photos taken in different seasons that they glommed together.

To me the biggest problem is that this doesn’t look like a winter holiday card in any way. I actually scrolled past this photo to find the card, because I didn’t recognize it as such.

But Kate and William's does look wintery? There are daffodils in the background for Christ's sakes.

Why does everything have to be compared to William and Kate?

Because they are obsessed with hating them

+1. It's off-topic and should be deleted.

As someone with curly hair, I will posit that brushing Lilibet's hair could make it very frizzy. Or it could be that humidity makes her hair freak out a bit.

Or maybe she hates having it brushed. I did when I was her age, and I have a vivid memory of having my hair brushed and squirming around so much trying to get away that my mom whacked me with the brush. It's OK with me if Megan prefers unbrushed hair on a preschooler to that.

But regardless: You are criticizing the hair of a preschooler.

If it's so humid her hair is frizzy then why is her brother in a heavy long sleeve shirt.

Nothing in that picture makes sense.

That's the first see-through dress I've seen on a Christmas card.

Agree. Sewing patches on is a very old fashioned thing. For people who couldn't just buy new clothes when the old ones got holes or worn out. It wasn't a fashion statement then and I wouldn't think this was due to hard financial times now.

That's what he used for military purposes.

He's not in the military now. In fact he's been out for a while.

Yes, but he obviously likes being called that, sans Captain.

She must like the look. Most moms are in charge of holiday outfits and Meghan surely chose these.

The weather has been rather warm this winter.

These aren't holiday outfits.

More natural, less stuffy.

I find every thing the Wales family does is exactly what is expected of them. Nothing is real. Their entire lives are staged and a lie. And Prince William is probably a real ahole in real life. Just like his father super entitled, snobbish, bully. At least Charles came around and mellowed with age. I’m not sure there is hope for William, who never in his life experienced being on the back foot - his father was bullied at school while William was the pinnacle of the social hierarchy his whole life

Agree on William. I've know men like him IRL and they calcify in middle age because the decades of being told how important and smart and handsome they are just overpower whatever introspection or wisdom they'd normally gain with age. Whereas men like Harry tend to improve because years of being told what a screw up they are winds up encouraging empathy, and they can be really good fathers and partners with the right support. Meanwhile, Williams kids will all wind up terrified of him. At least their mom seems very loving and attentive, I think they likely all have good relationships with Kate.

I suspect Harry and Megan are somewhat dysfunctional because of their weird backgrounds, but they obviously get therapy and are trying to break some generational patterns and doing ok. Yes they lack self awareness about their privilege and are entitled. But overall I relate to them a bit more.

I wonder if one or both of the kids wear a wig, to make it harder to them in real life. It seems unlikely that both parents have red hair gene, which is how the children get red hair. The wig may be mussed up a bit to look like real hair.

He likes being called by his brother's title instead of the surname he shares with his wife and kids.

The same brother who was terrible and mean to him allegedly. Ok, sure. That makes sense.

He's been Harry Wales since childhood because his dad was Prince of Wales then. He used that last name at school and in the military. He got the Sussex title as a wedding gift. So his wife is Duchess of Sussex. She is not a Princess of Wales OR THE Princess of Wales. I guess she was never made a Princess. Technically, I think Kate was not until William became THE Prince of Wales. There was much remark over how William put "princess of the UK" as Kate's occupation on (George's?) birth certificate. At that point she could have gone by Kate Cambridge. And was a royal duchess. At that time, she could also have been called Princess William.

Really?! I have 2 daughters and they lived in dresses, leggings and Mary Jane’s for about 3 years. So every photo of them would’ve similar
