Tall, handsome, straight furniture designer who was "dating" every young woman in NYC and they were all crying about him on social media because they all thought they were his one true love.
Men will do whatever they can get away with. It's because we carry the babies that we need to be picky. Part of that means not sleeping with a guy the day you meet him and figuring out that, oh, this guy will never commit and isn't worth my time.

As West End Caleb showed, women don't want to make that choice. Instead, they get mad and blame Caleb for their choices.

Young women, just emerged from their parents' loving home, think that they are so special that the handsome prince will surely fall in love with them. I wish my mother would have given it to me straight about what dogs men can be, and what to actually look for in a man. I was too idealistic.
Well, maybe the social construct becomes more like the animal kingdom. Those 20% of males impregnate the 80% of females that want to have children to pass on their good genes. Of course, no monogamy here, unless you’re the last lucky female to snag him at the end of his productive breeding years.

I honestly wonder if the average height in the US is going to get taller when most of the short men lose out on women.

Yes, that’s a correct observation. Men’s average height is going taller. For older white male it’s 5’10. For younger 5’11. Presumably next generation will be 6’ average

Actually Americans are shrinking: https://theweek.com/health/height-in-america-shorter-public-health

I got rejected left and right and at times looked desperate, but I eventually found a woman that I would have probably never found had I gone online.

Ironically she was single and swiping for men on OLD. At the time she said I was the first man to approach her in a non creepy way in person.

Men just need to try their luck in person. I'll go as far as saying that if a man can't find a woman on OLD and he is not willing to try in person, he is actually better of just single. He will be doing himself a favor.

They grew up online that's why. The weird Tech bros who can't look at women in the eyes figured the only way for them to have a woman is for the initial contact to be through pixels. Sadly they are changing our society in ways thats not good for us normal people

Until men can grow children inside of them, a loser man and a loser women are not equals. A woman can claim she brings her body to grow and birth children to the table. What does a loser man bring? It takes 5 minutes to release sperm. And the 20% of men can provide sperm for all women. The same cannot be said of 20% of women having children for all men.

So men have to try harder to be counterparts to "undesirable" women.

At this moment, it is true that women only need a donor to have a child. However, even now, a man can pay a woman for her role as an egg and womb donor.

How long will it be before babies can be created and housed in artificial wombs? 50 years? More likely, about 20 years.

Once there is true reproductive freedom (i.e., men do not need women to have children), the world will change in ways it never has before.

If random dudes can create babies, I'm going to the clinic and pulling the rip cord. That's the last thing we need.

It’s not that the “lonely man” can’t get dates. It’s just that they’re too lazy and too cheap to plan a good date and then.

Obviously, all kinds of people get married all the time. Just go to the mall or the beach or a school event and look around.

But it seems that many of the 80% don't consider their counterparts worth the effort.

You act like the people that you see at the mall, or the beach or a school event, treat their spouses less. I find the opposite.

That’s literally not what that says. Did you miss “reading is fundamental” as a kid?

It’s because I didn’t just read the shallow article, I went back and looked at the research.

Because reading is only fundamental while research is deep and informed.

Yep. However, until then men need to try harder than women if they want partner to build a family.

Not at all. They seem like the good ones (along with many of the 20%).

This is the weakest attempt at sounding profound that has nothing to do with real life. Tech Bros lmao

This seems to be the real issue.

A lot of these men think if he puts one “nice” in that “sex” should pop out. And suddenly become a lot less nice after being told no.

The 80/20 Rule creates a land of Sexual Oligarchs and Paupers.

I feel so sorry for the guys on the other side of the wall.

It's not hard to be in the top 20% of most things.

That may be true, but one part of that equation seems much more worked up about it than the other. Women are, by and large, peacefully going about their single lives, meeting up with friends, doing their jobs, raising their kids if they have them.

A subset of single men, on the other hand, seem determined to seethe and speculate about what women want, but refuse to believe women when they explain what they are looking for.

We attempted to address this problem in Berlin beginning in the mid-1930s, but our solution never gained traction. The problem was that the people we (the top 20%) perceived as being in the bottom 80% disagreed with us regarding their status.

Maybe we can start again with people like you, Mein Liebchen.

This isn't even clever.
