These hateful posts about a child are incredibly bizarre and highly disturbing.

If I found out that my kids grew up to be adults that publicly bashed and commented on young teens, I’d first try to evaluate what went wrong with their lives. Did I do something that resulted in this odd behavior?

Be better humans than this, guys.

The right wing hate Beyonce and Jayz. They did a lot to support Black Lives Matter and that is so offensive to racists. That idiot Marjorie Crazy Green said people who donated to bail money for protesters were terrorists who should be imprisoned. Beyonce and Jayz contributed a lot of money for bail for poor people. Racists HATE that.

You are absolutely right. Why do I bother trying to reason with those who are too far gone to be reasoned with?

It's not racist to recognize when a young teen is being exploited. You should care more about how young girls and teens of any background are being treated.

+1 And the music and entertainment industry ($$$$ making machine) does not care who gets hamed in the process.

I have to agree. I was treated like the adult in the family as a teen and I see her acting the same way. The Knowles family should understand why it’s important to let kids be kids so it’s disappointing that they having the 13-year-old take this role. Watch how the 13-year-old scolds /corrects The young sibling. She’s more focused on that than enjoying the moment.
You are really projecting. Blue Ivy stepping in as a big sister for two seconds doesn’t mean she’s being parentified. Beyoncé and Jay-Z literally have a whole team around them at all times; nannies, security, staff, etc. No one’s expecting Blue to raise her siblings. She’s just being a normal older sister during a big moment.

Exactly! The egos and arrogance of these posters who are comparing this child’s experience to their own is mind-blowing. To think that you have any idea about how this family operates, their experiences or anything that is going on inside of this child’s head is ridiculous.

+1000.

So many lame excuses for the exploitation and sexualization of a girl who just turned 13 in January.

Without a doubt paid bots with google alerts set to this kid and her mom’s name.

Right, because bots totally set Google Alerts, write paragraphs, and cash paychecks now. Keep reaching.

I am neither right wing nor a bot but I don't think a 13 year old should be performing on stage in world tours.

If she came on for a few minutes like the younger one did - great. But to be part of the machine that is a full time performer on stage and integrated into the music scene at 13, I think it is too young.

There are too many child stars and young teen musicians who have been turned into working adults at a young age and the power and people around them corrupt them and disrupt their age appropriate development. No matter who her parents are, she is still 13. No matter how adult her body is, her brain is still 13.

Actually, there are moments where you can clearly see how deeply Blue Ivy feels things, she just expresses emotion differently than people expect. In this video, the crowd chants her name and she takes out her earpiece, visibly overwhelmed. You can see how emotional and real it is for her ; she even cries. Not everyone beams with a huge smile all the time, especially under the spotlight from such a young age. But that doesn’t mean there’s nothing going on behind her eyes.

Agreed. Whatever the other complaints, you can't watch this video and think she's not loving it.

That person is just being a weirdo. Bots are automated software programs, not people.

Unless you have legit information to the contrary, let’s assume that the kids had input in choosing their outfits. FWIW, I think Blue Ivy’s stage outfits are fine. (I worked for many years with middle school kids. I also remember what my friends and I wore in junior high school— last century. )

I don't get the big deal either. This is not unusual; many of their peers have done the same. Cher had her daughter on stage with her starting at age 2.

Pink had her 9-year-old daughter performing with her at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards.

And let’s not forget the Trapp Family Singers and The Sound of Music movie. And their Mom / step-mom was an ex-nun.

NP; what was wrong with how they turned out? The family escaped Syria and settled in Vermont. They ran a musical camp and a lodge, which I believe is still in operation today. Some of the kids remained in the music/arts, some went military , and i believe one became a doctor.

^^ Sorry, I meant to say Austria, they escaped Austria.

Pink’s children are about 9 and 14. How do you think they’ve turned out PP?
