Beyonce and Blu Ivy

I was surprised to see that Beyoncé’s daughter is now pretty much a full on performer / dancer with solos and all. She looks so adult like. You would think with everything Beyoncé knows about the industry, that she wouldn’t want her 13 year old front and center. I feel like it is so rare for teens in this high profile roles and in the music industry to ever turn out well as adults.

I don't love the way Blu Ivy and North West are being pushed on us, but I don't think Beyonce is putting her daughter at any real risk by having her in her shows. I think that she knows that the kids most at risk of being exploited are the no-names with show parents willing to do anything for a "big break", not independently famous and wealthy nepo babies.

Everyone parents differently. Maybe the kid has to maintain all A's to be allowed to do this, or maybe they indulge everything she wants, or she asked to have a job and her parents decided she could work with her mom, on stage, etc.

We'll never know. It's not what I would do - I'd go more of the "you will never know what my kids look like" route, but that's just my personality.

Last year it seemed more like join mom on stage, this year it seems more like they are preparing her for her own career and soon she will be her own brand. Not sure if she sings too …likely she does.

I hope Beyoncé knows what she’s doing because her daughter is only 13 years old, she looks much older than that and she is very pretty. I would be worried about it, but I’m not her mom. I have no opinion on her talent or abilities because I know zero about that.

I just wonder if Blue has any friends her age. Does she do typical 13 yr old things with them? What she is doing is fun and cool, but it's not a normal-kid-experience. Does she have any normal kid experiences? Or are they all manufactured and over the top, like when Kylie Jenner's homeschooled kid wanted to ride a yellow school bus so the dad rented one and she got a spin around the gated community block.

No I dont but the comments on Reddit were praising her for being a great dancer, but she's not.
