How so? Still trying to figure out what was illegal.

forcing someone out of the country when they had legal right to be here would be here? That was illegal, but not sure they can be charged criminally for that. They could be charged for not following the court's order, though.

Um, the Supreme Court recognized that he could be deported, so he had no legal right to be here.

The lower court ordered that he could be deported, but not to El Salvador. So the Supreme Court said they should get him out of El Salvador.

didn't someone on DCUM use this fine distinction a few hours ago?! I am more and more convinced that she practices her ideas first on DCUM! There are posts that sound exactly like her.
It's in the Supreme Court's ruling.

The guy is most likely dead.

I agree and as instructed by Trump and carried out by Bondi and Homan. It is likely this administration followed Argentina in throwing prisoners out of the plane alive over the Gulf of MEXICO!

if this happens, family should sue.

How will they know?

How will they know?

District court judge asked for daily updates on the government’s progress trying to get him out.

All DHS has to do is brim him back to US for 1 second and immediately deport him to any other country since El Salvador is the only country he should not be deported to.

Why would another country accept him when he’s not their citizen?

Why did El Salvador accept deportees from other countries?

It's either that or Gusntanamo.

The PP said he had a legal right to be in the US. He does not. He has a legal right to be deported anywhere but El Salvador.

Plenty of countries do this.

The easiest solution for Trump to comply is to drive him to the US embassy in El Salvador (fly in an immigration judge) and deport him from there.

That certainly is an option. Another is transfer to Gitmo or other foreign US facility. The current administration will not allow him to resume his life in Maryland.

How was he working in Maryland if he was here illegally?

On Friday, Trump weighed in on the Supreme Court's order while talking with reporters, claiming he wasn't well versed in the case.

Say what now? Not well versed on this case? Total BS, but it gets a pass.

He was not here illegally. Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia was in the U.S. legally with a "withholding of removal" status granted in 2019, protecting him from deportation to El Salvador due to a credible fear of persecution.

This is why he has an AG - to discuss the implications of legal rulings. When CEOs are asked these questions, they refer to in house or outside counsel.

When did Biden comment extensively on Supreme Court rulings?
