An apology would not even remotely make up for what they have done.

+1

I hate them beyond words for what they chose to do to our country.

I agree and as instructed by Trump and carried out by Bondi and Homan. It is likely this administration followed Argentina in throwing prisoners out of the plane alive over the Gulf of MEXICO!

didn't someone on DCUM use this fine distinction a few hours ago?! I am more and more convinced that she practices her ideas first on DCUM! There are posts that sound exactly like her.

She isn't that smart. A genuine Cabbage Patch doll has a higher IQ than Kewpie pie Karoline.

The truth can’t even be spun or massaged, it’s that bad. It’s really something. Historians will have a field day writing about this time period if such a subject exists in the far future.

This is the beginning of Trump's precipitous fall from his slippery slope of lies.

"Judge Paula Xinis is ordering the government to provide daily updates on the progress in the case of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, the Maryland father wrongly deported to a prison in El Salvador.

“We are going to make a record of everything the government is doing and not doing,” she said, breezing past objections from Drew Ensign, the lawyer for the government.

“The court’s deadlines are impractical,” Ensign said. He added that the government would comply with the Supreme Court’s order.

The hearing is over, after less than half an hour."

i thought the Supreme Court was pretty clear in its ruling what it expected from BOTH the lower courts and the Government:

"The District Court should clarify its directive, with due regard for the deference owed to the Executive Branch in the conduct of foreign affairs. For its part, the Government should be prepared to share what it can concerning the steps it has taken and the prospect of further steps."

If Judge Xinis is planning to build a contempt case for failing to report daily, it's going to be tough.

Kidnapping someone withoout due process and shipping them off to a gulag is not national security nor the conduct of foreign affairs.

That's not what the Supreme Court said.

To be fair, the man is in El Salvador now and is a ward of the Salvadoran government, so the US government is no longer in control of the fate of the subject. Long story short, Trump sold these people to El Salvador and cannot reverse the transaction, nor do they want to.

Of course he can. Bukele is his best friend. He doesn't want to. Why in the world would Bukele not hand the man over if Trump asked for it. Bukele has already gotten everything he could imagine and more out of this deal. 6 million dollars. Worldwide attention. More and more propaganda videos about CECOT. This is such a dumb argument that I assume no one believes it.

The poster isn't smart either.

It will take time, but the Law will eventually catch up to Trump's henchmen.

Remember, Trump may have immunity, but his henchmen don't.

forcing someone out of the country when they had legal right to be here would be here? That was illegal, but not sure they can be charged criminally for that. They could be charged for not following the court's order, though.

Um, the Supreme Court recognized that he could be deported, so he had no legal right to be here.
