Sure. But how many of them buy newspapers and then refuse to let the editorial board of that paper do their job without interference? Hmm???

There’s the LA Times guy I guess. But if you really want to be consistent you need to have nothing to do with Apple, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Home Depot and a ton of others. That’s not easy to do without being dead.

Apple, Microsoft, and Google didn’t pay Melania $40 million for her documentary. Amazon did.

And this is what's ultimately eating you? Are you for real cause that's the dumbest reason to be mad at Amazon. Are you even aware at how many other abuse of power as a company they've been accused of and are guilty of?

Let's be real. It's not Amazon you're rebelling against and Bezos that you hate. It's Trump. That's who triggers you.

The problem is more people like him than you hate him. I do not happen to be one of the Trump fans but I have accepted that he's been voted into office and accepting that my distaste is for him separate from just being mad unreasonably at the entire world is is a healthier way to be. Man, we're talking 4 years of this so you're in for a long mental breakdown unless you get sensible!

Say it with me - Bezos, Gates, et al - they are not Trump.

I’m not doing this because I hate Trump, I’m doing this because I love my country. I can tell that you are naive to the connections I’ve made and you’re not open to understanding them. So good luck to you during what will be a very hard time for all of us. I will not passively watch this country be stripped for parts and sold to our enemies with the help of these billionaires greasing the palm of the mob boss because they aren’t satisfied with the billions they already have. Hell no.

I hate to break this to you, but every single one of the Trump voters love their country and *voted for Trump because they loved their country*. And they won the election.

A lot of people also voted for Trump in part because they were tired of major companies taking a "moral" stance on everything and judging and shaming customers who disagreed. We went through a pretty unusual period between 2018-2024 and it just wore people out.

Tell me you’ve never taken a comparative government, European History, or political psychology course without telling me.

Tell me I'm arguing with someone on a bored Saturday night on DCUM who is resorting to non sequiturs.

I don’t think that’s true. I think there’s a lot of people who voted for him because they want to see the world burn. I don’t think they will be disappointed.

Yeah, Trump ran on “burning it all down”. So far, they’re getting what they wanted.
