Trump demands that Israeli hostages released before 1/20 or he will destroy them

Palestine could have been an independent state for 80 years now. And it'd be an enviable state with borders from the green hills on the border with Lebanon to the Mediterranean coast to urban areas like Hebron, Nablus, Ramallah, and Acre, and a contigious nation that went all the way down to Gaza and the Negev.

In 1914, modern Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, and Kuwait didn't exist.

Only the Palestinian Arabs chose to be absolute morons and say no to an independent country once the Ottoman Empire collapsed in 1918. Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq - none of these are perfect nation states and yet they still managed to become vibrant, authentic countries. It was only the Palestinians that went to war for an ethno-state. And it was a stupid decision.

Now they choose Hamas and hated Iran

They made an extremely poor decision invading Israel on 10/7. No one in the Arab world supported that. And Palestinians are going to be paying for their stupid decisions for another 100 years. Until there is a revolution among Palestinians and they choose different leadership, it is hopeless for them.

Wow nice re-writing of history, after the Ottoman Empire fell, the British occupied Palestine. And they did what they’re known for doing.

No, Israel knows that not all the hostages are dead, it’s just that they don’t care. Israeli military has long operated on the “Hannibal Directive” - that any IDF soldier under threat of being killed could be shot by other IDF. This protocol was employed during Oct 7th when the order was given to use maximum force (i.e. lethal force) to prevent the return of vehicles to Gaza after the Oct 7 attack. More here - https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/jul/07/israel-idf-hannibal-protocol-hamas-attack-haaretz

It is assumed that the Israeli military and political establishment has essentially applied the Hannibal principle to the hostages - whether alive or dead, the Israeli government will not negotiate for their return - the hostages are essentially dead to the Israeli government unless they have immediately actionable intelligence that they could use to conduct a recovery raid with minimal risk of casualties. (Fairly unlikely, but has happened once.)

It is thought that about half of the hostages (mix of military and civilian) are alive (50-60ish).

Where would they have been kept, underground for over a year? Did Humas keep them all together,? There is no way this many could still be alive and even if they be are Humas will return them DOA. I am looking forward to trump stopping all wars on Day 1! What a joke.

Yes, there are hundreds of miles of tunnels under Gaza, where the hostages are being kept. No, they are not all kept together. Some, early on were kept in homes above ground, but many were and are underground.

Why kind of person are you? You know all of these details so assuredly and yet you haven’t bothered to tell anyone exactly where to look?

Too bad there were no tunnels. When will you all stop with the endless propaganda? Please provide independent sources that is credible!

Shouldn’t you be out blowing up Red Cross stations or soup kitchens? Oh what about a preschool or a hospital? You can blow it up and say there was high level Hamas leadership but never name who it is.

Which was creating states from the British and French mandates after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Like Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and so on. Except Palestinians chose not to have an independent state. So here we are more than 80 years later.

Tunnels or no tunnels. Why does that mattter? My friend just shared a book of poetry from the children in Gaza (abstracted videos recordings). It is heartbreaking. There is a replica of a list one child wrote in their own handwriting of things they miss:

1) Dad
2) Yousef
3) a hot shower

- dated Jan 2024.

There is simply no justification for the continued horrors that Israel is inflicting. Continue to blame Hamas, antisemitism, how the Muslims refused such a good and fair free for a new Palestine after being displaced from their homes but I hope you one day find your humanity. And place yourself in this child’s shoes. How can they not hate Israel with every fiber of their being?

The hostages will stay in Gaza for as long or longer than Gilad Shalit. Israel is too scared to check every house in Gaza
Anonymous
Israel was too scared to enter the houses in Israel to actually fight men from taking hostages in the first place with handmade grenades, hot air balloons, and zip ties.
All the equipment they get from us doesnt make them a real army.

They are mall cops with fancy planes.

And they want us to believe these tacky condo builders and genocidal baby-killers are the same people of the bible. They literally took what little food aid was going into Gaza and switched out the sugar for sand. They also take out the anesthesia so all of those orphaned children being amputated, are having their appendages cut off without anesthesia. They have actual tours for psycho Israelis to see what has been done to Gaza.

The level of evil is unmatched. But of course, the usual idiots will mention "Khamas" because their brains are so limited that history is apparently only a year old. Meanwhile, you can point to decades of cruelty and savagery by Israel and they just pretend it doesn't lead to an Oct 7. To a Zionist, it seems no level of evil committed by Israel from its inception right up to Oct 6, 2023, justifies what happened on Oct 7, yet that one day means Israel gets to do whatever the hell it wants...as it did BEFORE Oct. 7. And not only in Gaza but massacre people in the West Bank, Hebron, E. Jerusalem. And there's no justice.

And Trump is an idiot. The whole govt is pathetic, regardless of party. Why do Americans even pretend foreign policy is on behalf of the US when every choice is an Israeli mouthpiece whether at the State Dept or UN?

Do people who support Israel comprehend that Americans are getting sick of this sh*t? Actual laws violating free speech and the first amendment solely for Israel? Literally getting FIRED in almost 40 states if you work at a govt job and criticize/boycott Israel? To be able to criticize your own country but not that one single foreign one because you will be denied a govt contract or not get hired, is insanity.

Hamas is not hiding. They are killing Israeli soldiers which is why they dont want to do door to door combat to actually find the hostages. Israel can only do the only thing it knows to do which is carpet bomb because they cannot beat Hamas on the ground. After their latest military casualties when trying to take over and defeat Hamas in North Gaza for the fourth time, Israel became so angry it decided to go nuclear literally. They've now resorted to using unheard of new weapons that vanish bodies completely within seconds. They are using small tactical nuclears in Gaza toward civilians and possibly their own citizens. This is Israel's war of annihilation but it doesnt seem to be annihilating Hamas only civilians. Their war is a failure just like all things from Netanyahu. Israel will likely be at civil war or do a military coup to get rid of Netanyahu within the next five years. Very sad state of affairs. I dont see any bright days ahead for Palestinians or Israelis.

I believe this war is their Vietnam.

All of the other wars of the past that they won were not against Palestinians, but foreign nations (Egypt, Jordan, Syria). Israel had home court advantage. This time it is the opposite. Their army is the foreigner. Turf wars are very hard to win if you are the outsider. It's also why flying in carpetbagging settlers from Brooklyn to some valley to the Palestinian West Bank (their home for centuries) is also not wise but with Netanyahu, what can you expect? He doesn't think about tomorrow, only about today. He is no King David though he believes he is one

Israelis would bathe in the blood of Gazans in the Med Sea if they can. They are vengeful and very cruel people. Palestinians are less hateful even in Gaza today toward Israel than the everyday Israeli right now is toward Palestinians despite most of the suffering happening to Gazans. Gazans thank God despite all their suffering daily. Israelis will blame God for not killing Palestinians faster.

Things you won't hear about is Hamas sodomizing or cracking the skull or ribs of hostages, or pushing the Israeli elder hostages off of wheelchairs like the IDF does to Palestinian elderly. The IDF is streaming cries of Palestinian kids from loudspeakers on their planes and tanks as soundtracks to their ears while Palestinians recite prayers to pass the time.

Israel is morally sick

It's not Hamas, it's Iran. That's (almost certainly) the threat here.

If 10/7 signaled to Israel and friends that Iran is a bigger threat to Israel than Hamas, then Israel doesnt deserve to be a sovereign country, just a client state of the US like Puerto Rico.

I think Israel does not want to admit Hamas acted alone as a lone wolf. They are sequestered with a blockade. Sinwar was not jetsetting to Iran, and the jetsetter that they did manage to kill in Iran was by Israel's own admission not even aware of 10/7 before it happened nor was Qatar, an Israeli and US ally. Sinwar masterminded it and he was only in two places throughout his life, Israeli jail and Gaza. He was never in Iran yet he was the one who planned 10/7. Given he was a product of a Israel hostage exchange for Gilad Shalit, he thought a new hostage exchange would help liberate his friends in Israeli jail and he placed Gaza on the brink of nuclear/chemical bombing instead. Why dont our stooges talk about Netanyahu chemically bombing kids like they squawk about Syria's Assad?
