And Trump regards that as unacceptable. For Trump, everything is personal. You'll notice the rest of the world - from France to Ukraine to Japan to Canada - are all playing along. It really does behoove Hamas and Iran to get their act together and make a plan for January 20th. Because it will be different afterwards. This is an administration that is enthusiastically pro-Israel and is looking forward to a far more confrontational approach to Iran and its allies like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis.

But didn’t Trump campaign on an anti foreign wars position? So he is a liar. So then why is this not also a lie?

No country on Earth is going to war for Palestinians. It's in no one's interest. They were given an independent state in 1947 and 1993. Instead, Palestinians chose war and terrorism and endless intifada. Plus Black September and Munich and civil war in Lebanon and aiding the invasion of Kuwait and supporting 9/11 and killing a bunch of kids on 10/7 and committing war crimes in Syria in support of Assad and being a puppet of Iran.

The entire Arab world has given the green light for the destruction of Palestinians. They have been a nightmare for Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Egypt.

The US is not getting involved with this militarily. But the fact that even Arab-Americans are voting for Trump should be a clue about how this is going to go for the next four years.

Palestinians really messed up with their choices - from the PLO to Hamas.

If Hamas releases the remaining hostages before 1/20 there might be some hope. But if they don't, it's going to get worse.

10/7 might be the dumbest thing anyone has ever done ever.

Other than rejecting resolution 181.

Palestinian leadership has been a catastrophe for the Palestinian people for 80 years and counting.

Yes they should have never allowed Jews to steal their land. Should have had secure borders in Palestine. The good news is Israel military and intelligence services have been in steep decline for decades. Only a matter of time before the wheel comes back and Israel’s fortunes fall. IDF has already suffered close to 1,000 killed and 11-12,000 wounded in Lebanon. They also publicly report that Hamas is in control of Gaza. Live by the sword die by the sword.

Yes, they should have accepted 181 b/c we've seen the alternative.

Would you choose 181 borders or the current Palestinian situation?

Patiently awaiting your response.

The rest of your post is absurd fantasy. Objectively speaking (without taking morality into account), Israel has absolutely, positively won this conflict and perhaps has further expanded its territory. Meanwhile, its only real adversary--Iran--is weakened and its proxy network devastated.

lol Israel has lost this conflict. You all got run over by a few 100 militia men with light weapons on Oct 7. What the f? The IDF can’t even secure Gaza. Hamas controls it. As for Lebanon the IDF is running for home. It took the IDF 12 years to surrender last time. This time it is a matter of months. Those are real casualties numbers with lots of equipment destroyed or damaged. Israel has suppressed this but is leaking out. Israel is alone in the Middle East and the world. Every Arab nation has pushed you all off to arm’s length and Turkey is now leading the resistance against you. Go ahead and try’s to bomb Turkey. See what happens. Your boys are having all kinds of problems.

Iran has proven they can hit targets in Israel at any time and Israel is incapable of stopping it. Israel has to rely on the US to shoot down the drone and missiles but the US did not shoot down the ballistic missiles. Soon Iran will have nuclear weapons on ballistic missiles, and the US will not think of touching them. How long can Israel remain on full deployment? Don’t you have a real economy? Israel is circling the drain and your only friend is a back stabbing Trump.

So Palestinians won?

Iran won?

Hamas won?

Hezbollah won?

^^^ doesn’t comprehend how the long game is played - at all.

The "long game"?

Looks like 80 years and counting. Exactly how long before your master plan bears fruit?

Are we talking geological time here? Sometime before the end of the Cenozoic?

It's not Hamas, it's Iran. That's (almost certainly) the threat here.

Palestine could have been an independent state for 80 years now. And it'd be an enviable state with borders from the green hills on the border with Lebanon to the Mediterranean coast to urban areas like Hebron, Nablus, Ramallah, and Acre, and a contigious nation that went all the way down to Gaza and the Negev.

In 1914, modern Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, and Kuwait didn't exist.

Only the Palestinian Arabs chose to be absolute morons and say no to an independent country once the Ottoman Empire collapsed in 1918. Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq - none of these are perfect nation states and yet they still managed to become vibrant, authentic countries. It was only the Palestinians that went to war for an ethno-state. And it was a stupid decision.

Now they choose Hamas and hated Iran

They made an extremely poor decision invading Israel on 10/7. No one in the Arab world supported that. And Palestinians are going to be paying for their stupid decisions for another 100 years. Until there is a revolution among Palestinians and they choose different leadership, it is hopeless for them.

Given that Gaza has already had more bombs dropped on it than Nazi Germany, I think Hamas is used to getting bombed. Trump can turn large borders into smaller borders, and he might incite attacks here in the U.S, but I doubt that he will intimidate Hamas.

There is zero, and I mean zero, equivalency with Nazi Germany.
Get back to me when they hunt down specific people by night, transport them on trains through neighboring countries and torture them.

Not sure why people don't get this.

Poorly played hand by both of them if they actually thought they would have leverage over the decisions of an independent thinker in a lame duck presidency. Idiots.

You're right. Billionaires just throw money away without expecting any ROI, and you're definitely smarter than they are.

Trump is infamous for screwing people and it couldn't happen to two more deserving a$$holes than swartzman and ackman.

How exactly is he screwing them when this thread is how he’s going to obliterate Palestine on Day 1? Isn’t he “screwing” his DCUM voters who repeatedly claimed he’s a peacenik?

Gotta say, this sort of feels true. I previously lived in Oman (and they aren’t actually oil rich) and their progress was stunning. And they have a significant Sunni and Shia population. And yet they manage to have this beautiful and peaceful country with a booming tourism industry. Women are educated and work there.

I feel so bad for the Lebanese too. This situation is not their fault and they are suffering. Lebanese people are wonderful, smart, educated people too. Lebanon is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever visited.

So much potential in that area of the world.

right? We stated repeatedly that Trump will be worse for Palestinians. Some of you kept saying that it can't get worse. Um.. yea.

1/21 is going to take the wind out of these hateful Zionist sails, and frankly, it’s going to be pretty funny, too. Watching the DCUM extremist Zionist menagerie panicking as they slowly begin to realize that Trump won’t follow through on this or any other threat (because let’s face it, not following through is his calling card) will be disorienting for them, making their celebrations today look really awkward.

Get your jollies imagining more suffering for Palestinians because all you seem to know is hate, but prepare yourselves for a let down.

Yeah, I can imagine a scene in the future with a couple of guys in Gaza sitting in a tent somewhere.

“You know Ahmad, I sure do miss the days when Biden was charge. All that bombing, street after street of rubble, no food, most of my family dead, daily air strikes, ahh, those were the days. If only my idiot cousin and his family in America had voted Harris we could still be enjoying those days”.

Is that why the Israeli and Jewish American billionaires funded Trump? If you are pointing fingers and saying it is your fault Trump is in power we all know who to point at.

Yeah, I don’t know who you think you’re fooling, but it’s probably yourself. The nominations floated by Trump thus far, on balance, are substantially less “in the bag” for Israel than we usually see. Those Israeli and Jewish American donors are well past antsy at this point.
