Why are many conservatives fixated on vaccine mandates?

You can choose not to work for Harris.

You can choose not to live in a state whose abortion policies you don't like.

You sound like an old timey Confederate. If you think you use states rights to rationalize getting rid of basic fundamental rights that belong to all women, think again.

But this isn’t political for you at all. You are just deciding each thing on the merits, right?

I’m the PP and no I didn’t consider myself political at all before this. I still don’t like everything on the conservative side (I do support abortions until viability outside the womb) but I really hate someone telling me I need to inject something into my body and my kids’ bodies after they say that I won’t need to and we have proof that it doesn’t stop you getting the virus and it doesn’t stop you passing it on. It’s honestly insane and yes, quite obviously completely political.

I don’t believe you. Regardless, there was no nationwide vaccine mandate.

There were mandates for those of us who work for companies that do government projects. Everyone in our companies were required to get it, even if we weren’t working on those projects ourselves.

And you had the right to get a different job. If you chose to work for a company that had federal contracts, then they had to risk losing the work, or serving the terms of the contract. That isn't a mandate. No one tied you down and forced a needle in you.

If the goverment puts in the contract that Covid vaccines were required, that’s a mandate

A mandate for the people working for that contractor, that is not a mandate for everyone in the country.

Someone can find a different job, because personal responsibility, right?

I mean why would someone with that attitude want to suck on the teat of the government anyhow?

Had the administration gotten its way, over 100 million people, or roughly 2/3rds of the workforce would have been subject to the vaccine mandate.

The Govt tried, but the Supreme Court stopped them in case anyone is purposely forgetting how things went down. They did manage to fire a bunch of military, and are still hurting for recruits as a result.

Cry harder. No one wants their recruit in an infectious disease stew. You want to be in the military, get a vaccine to protect the community or go do something else.

From "There was no mandate" to "cry harder" in a single page. Gosh, I can't imagine why people don't trust you people with power to mandate things.

Why didn’t you oppose the vaccine mandates for public school children before COVID started?

Uh, I did. Vaccination is basically an entirely fraudulent industry. Industry being the key word.

People give credit to vaccination that rightly belong to nutrition and sanitation.

You think the polio vaccine was a fraud?

You think a disease that is spread by feces was cured by a vaccine and not sanitation improvements?
"Polio occurs naturally only in humans.[1] It is highly infectious, and is spread from person to person either through fecal–oral transmission[1][6] (e.g. poor hygiene, or by ingestion of food or water contaminated by human feces), or via the oral–oral route."

And yet polio was eradicated by the spread of vaccines to other countries where the sanitation infrastructure severely lagged in modernization. Why do you think you know more than scientists that have made if their life's work eradicate polio? What makes you think that you know better?

For some odd reason 100 rounds of vaccination hasn't eradicated polio in Pakistan. Why do you think that is?
"Though the polio immunization campaign in the country started in 1974,[8] the efforts for eradication officially started in 1994.[9] The infection remains endemic despite over 100 rounds of vaccination being carried out in the past decade.[10] Pakistan had the world's highest number of polio cases in 2014.[11][12][13][14]"

No. Pakistan has a lot of people like you PP. They don’t believe in vaccinations.

The misconception of people about polio vaccine, insecurity within the country and poor health system are the reasons of failure of polio eradication campaigns in these regions. Awareness campaigns about polio for locals and development of proper health system will help in the eradication of polio.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28718581/#:~:...cation%20of%20polio.

Now imagine if instead of vaccinating millions of people for 50+ years, they just cleaned up the water supply.

Coincidently, Polio is going away as: "...country has increased the share of the population with access to an improved water source from 85% in 1990 to 92% in 2010,"

No, no, must be the vaccine though.

Hey, would you please elaborate on what the conspiracy is behind the vaccine?

Its so simple and out in the open its hard to even call it a conspiracy. Large scale improvements in sanitation, nutrition, living conditions, etc... have drastically improved people's quality of life and resistance to disease. The medical industry however claims all these improvements are actually the result of vaccines instead.

Coincidently vaccines can be monetized by the medical industry in a way that say clean water cannot be. The medical industry has captive regulatory bodies recommend these ever growing number of miracle vaccines to every person born. They insist that this is safe while setting up a parallel legal system, known as the "vaccine court" which essentially denies anyone harmed by vaccines from having the normal legal recourse: "The Office of Special Masters of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, popularly known as "vaccine court", administers a no-fault system for litigating vaccine injury claims. These claims against vaccine manufacturers cannot normally be filed in state or federal civil courts, but instead must be heard in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, sitting without a jury."

You think nutrition has improved? In what way? Americans consume massive quantities of chemicals now.

If the big bad medical industrial complex made fake vaccines purely to make money, why would they need to set up a scheme to reduce their liability. They never intended the vaccines to work, right? Wouldn’t it be easier to make all vaccines the polio sugar cube, which would cause no injuries to anyone since it’s fake?

I’m not sure you’ve thought through your conspiracy enough. Maybe you should consult someone. Like a psychiatrist.

Another dimwit here. My dad's cousin contracted polio and was in a wheelchair for the remainder of his life - grew up eating farm to table in a lovely country home, but nutrition and sanitation do NOTHING for polio.

Polio is entirely sanitation driven, maybe you missed some posts while typing. Chances are pretty good that the "farm to table" process had some dudes taking a dump on the produce and not washing it afterwards. Maybe the vaccine would have helped, but personally, I'll take my lettuce without the feces.

Polio also spreads from droplets from coughing/sneezing. But I appreciate that doesn't fit the conspiracy-driven disinformation campaign you're running here.

Almost all document cases of polio spread through a fecal-oral route. Some claim it can be spread by droplets, but evidence is lacking. The infection has to make it to the intestines to do anything.
