| The potential of winning Titles, draws a lot of folks to Indy. They have a ton of talent, and as stated before, many of those players come from VLC. Several kids have chosen not to attend their zoned LOCO High School to attend Indy. Maybe not for lax specifically, but its a good HS overall. Maybe those kids knew they godo get playing time, wanted to play with their friends from VLC, or an number of reasons. I can't imagine they were drawn because of the coaching staff specifically. |
The "potential of winning titles draws a lot of folks" is the funny part. |
Not with Indy, but want to ask why you assumeall the parents "drank the (kool-aid)"? I have very good friends and interact personally and on the club circuit with some of these kids and parents. I have *gasp* first person spoken to them, have you? Why do you paint a wide variety of parents and kids with the same brush? The Indy parents and players I know are great people and players. Many did not listen to the current coach and were not really happy with the change in coach. FYI- I think that the staff beyond the HC is much the same as it was before with the old coach and you might know that if you spoke to someone. I do know that several parents have raised concerns about the same things posted here and things I have heard about that have not been posted here. This is not a democracy where the parents vote in a coach, this is done through the AD at the school. Yes you are allowed to have your opinion and I am allowed to have mine. You are not able to have your own facts though. From what I can tell you are passing judgement on players and parents that you do not know, have never spoken to and formed an opinion about based on snippets of games and anonymous internet postings. I challenge you to go out and speak with these people face to face and you might be surprised about what you find. Again - Am I happy with everything that has happened with Indy? No Am I happy with things that have happened my own sons team? No Have I seen very questionable things from other programs beyond mine or Indy? Yes I know many throughout LCPS and FCPS and PWCPS and have been around this game longer then I care to admit. I can 100% tell you a "dirty secret" and questionable actions about maybe 80% of the boys lacrosse programs in the area. |
| I thought a separate forum was made for Independence boys lacrosse. Please post there |

I for one think Indy may be the only interesting part of the VEL league. Please continue to post here for the rest of the VEL season.
Another interesting thing to watch is BI. They have never been good. Always the bottom for the WCAC and they beat Battefield who beat Robinson and gave PVI a much better game than Madison. If they beat Robinson is that a sign they are improved or is the gap between public and private wider than it has ever been |
this sounds like a Kamala Harris word salad. I can't even tell what you are saying. |
What big words can he help you with? |
interesting that no Indy parents are responding. but I saw the dirty player for the first time this past Sunday, and here is what I saw -- he cross checked the opposing goalie in the back of the head, butt-ended a player in the balls, and did two hand chop on a third player like a baseball swing. The baseball swing was called a slash, but the refs missed the other two, because he does this stuff behind the play. And on the slash, he had a chance to pick up the ball himself, but he was too chicken. Now I see why they call him the Indy slasher, but I wish his coaches or refs or someone would crack down before he hurts somebody. |
the problem is not any particular word, but it just rambles back and forth with no real point. |
He butt-ended a player in the ball against Riverside! Got called for it and it cost them a goal. |
| Anyone see that the 2026 pole on Robinson just committed to penn state. That’s crazy! |
I think that the 2026 class will have a few more d1 commits in VA public. I know that two Langley kids fogo and an attack men are on vlc and good players. Also riverside has a loaded 2026 class that are mostly on Wolfpack and dce, I could see a few more commits from there too |
Yes, example of a VA public kid playing on a good club team will works as well. You just have to be a good player on good teams. Robinson I believe won a championship and DCE is a great club as well. Riverside has a LSM that plays DCE as well and should do just fine and again that public school won a championship as well. Nice job! |
JP was a public school kid out of Freedom SR that ended up at Penn State and on to the PLL. |
| Robo pole was a 4 star. Played DCE and Hilltop and Nations Best. Showed out everywhere. Great pickup for Tambroni. Public school kid doing work and balling out. |
