This is when I wish we weren’t so civilized. I am all for a good public stoning or even execution in this situation. Any sexual violence like this should mean death for the offender. This child will be forever marked by her trauma even with therapy and that makes me so damn angry as a mother and survivor of abuse myself.

I do have to say that I hope they will delete the subReddit under her name. No victimized 9 year old deserves to have a subReddit dedicated to dissecting her abuse.

BNO News saying she was found in a trailer in Milton NY - seems to be 17 miles/25 min from the state park. And a 51 year old convicted sex offender has been arrested.

Wow the guy was dumb - thankfully for Charlotte and the Sena family. Unconfirmed local reporting is that he used to be a neighbor, he left a ransom note at the parents' house early this morning, the cops got the fingerprints off the ransom note!? And since he's a convicted sex offender - per the BNO posting above - it prob took them 2 seconds to find a match once they ran the finger prints.

I'm glad she's back home but I feel so sorry for whatever she had to endure in the last 2 days - bc I imagine she DID have to endure something.

Daily Mail reporting that the perp was a convicted pedophile who had spent time in jail for abusing young boys. He left a ransom note covered with his DNA and fingerprints and was arrested on a relative’s property.

They've been very careful to say she's "in good health" but they have not said "unharmed," which would be a normal thing to say when someone is recovered alive. So I fear you are correct.

And ehy in h*ll was he not kept in prison?! I'm disgusted with lenient sentencing for people who commit crimes that harm others. An innocent little girl suffers because someone thought okay for him to walk freely among potential innocent victims.
