Start a thread and keep posting on it all details of missing girls - whatever color.
Without publicity, how will people know?

How many threads has OP posted about crimes against women? What % of them were white? DP

It's not OPs job to start those threads. If you want a certain missing person discussed, start it yourself.

I’m the OP and why does it matter? I posted about a current event; I’m not aware of any non-white young girls who were abducted by a stranger this week in the US. If you are aware of any, by all means post them and the associated info so we can be informed.

Do you frequently post about current events?

NP but what’s your beef? If you think there isn’t enough publicity about stranger abductions of black and brown children (and you’re probably correct) then start threads and boost awareness. The solution is to bring more awareness to those kids. Not to shut down awareness/ threads of white kids being abducted to make things more “equitable”.

The solution is that the people posting these threads should reflect on their personal biases.

How about the people commenting on this reflect on their own biases? You saw a missing white girl. Not a missing girl and were triggered. Think on that.

Thanks DEI instructor. Will do.

Hope it helps! God Bless.

Why should they do that? They can have personal biases. As long as they are not trampling on people's human and civil rights, people can have any thoughts and viewpoints.

The OP has not stopped others from posting threads about abducted brown girls, right?

OP does not owe it to anyone to post about anything but whatever she wants to. Jeff is not deleting your threads, is he? Are your own hands broken that you cannot type about it here. DCUM is a free resource. It does not hurt any of us to do advocacy for social issues here, via this forum.

Start writing about them if you get butthurt when a thread like this one comes into existence. I am neither Black, nor White. Why are you waiting for others to write about missing brown girls?

- Asian woman

I don’t scan the deadlines for tragedies and post them on DCUM.

I can ask OP if she posts these threads often. And if she does does she happens to only post about certain victims.

Based on the reaction, I’m guessing OP posts these a lot and almost all are about white people.

Please change your mentality. You are a victim of your thinking,.
