Charlotte Sena - Missing NY 9YO

I’ve been following some of the TikTok coverage and the woods are not as densely heavy as I assumed, praying she’s found safe and someone can speak up
On what they saw.

This is terrifying. Someone was waiting.

This is so terrifying and makes me absolutely sick. I have a daughter the same age and we go camping at state parks every summer. Her and her friends ride their bikes around the loop the whole weekend. These loops are small, surrounded by other families and always feel very safe. It's so unlikely she got lost, which breaks my heart because the alternative is horrifying. My heart is breaking for this family.

My college roommate and family live a mile from that state park and go there all the time with their kids. I've been there on multiple occasions It's a lovely area--country but not backwoods. Pretty much zero crime.

This

I have a 9 yo girl and can’t imagine the horror

Same here. I have a 9 year old 4th grade girl and am physically ill right now thinking that some predator was just waiting for her.

Possibly, but they had people, dogs and drones looking and didn't find her.

Have you ever been in the woods? They may have other information but I don't know what that is so I would speculate that's where she is right now.

That’s what I also wonder: what details led to the suggestion it was an abduction and not just a missing, lost girl.

And in danger of injury or death! You don’t often see that in an AA.

There is certainly evidence that isn’t being released for now.

Where exactly was her bike found? On the actual “loop”/roadway? On an adjacent trail?

We are campers and I can’t imagine someone snatching up a kid from their bike on the actual loop of any campground I’ve ever been to. There are always people out and about, walking, driving, just sitting and observing.

All it takes is "There's been an emergency and your family sent me to get you- we need to go right now! We are meeting them at the hospital"

Right. But nobody noticed anything at the campsites right near where the bike was dropped? They say it took a half hour to find the bike. How? I would imagine it taking 5 minutes to walk the loop/roadway, so I can only surmise the bike was off-road. I wonder if she was meeting someone she had met previously during their stay, before they left?

It's not that dense there if you look at a map. The loop she was riding on is very close to an external road and that road is only a few minutes to an interstate. So, may have been a crime of opportunity. Dogs were brought in very quicky and if she was in the park I think she would have been located. People were leaving before LE was notified and it created a window of time for someone to leave, or even to have been parked on the nearby road parallel to the loop.

It would look like a kid talking to their Dad, nothing out of the ordinary.

It seems really coincidental that she wanted to ride for one more loop and was snatched. I wonder if she had talked to someone earlier in the day that told her to meet up on her own later and then grabbed her. Like "I know where there's a really cool pokemon monster, meet me on your own later this afternoon and I'll show you".

I guess the other option is someone was hanging out in the woods waiting to grab a kid on their own.

Either is absolutely horrific.

Any stranger kidnapping would be considered like this. You don’t get kidnapped for good reasons.

I would imagine that anyone there would have had to register for a site and drive by the gate house (unless they led her through the woods to the main road.) The whole thing is crazy because the chances of running into someone or being seen by someone mid plan would be high.
