Technically, this circus is starring parents of D1 recruits who are alums of Cavs and Pride. This is a confluence of Cavs defending DD, wonderkinds of Pride that went another route, and those that stayed with Pride until the end.

BFD. Recruiting is what matters in club lacrosse. Pride is way behind both Capital’s A and B teams and most of the Maryland clubs. Even YJMA has so far done better this year. If Pride is so great, why does no one stay for high school?

What I admire most about Capital is how they develop
, nurture and coddle their middle school teams so as to ensure best high school results. It’s a great development model.

Orange lost to YJMA 2 years ago. Orange beat them this year at the G-8 pretty solidly. (Pride has never heard of that tournament.) Orange lost by 1 to Pride, but has 4 solid D1 commitments to date. Not much on the commitment front for Pride. Still laugh how Pride tries to keep up with the Orange team now when at one point they tried to compete with Blue.
