People you know that died in a freak accident. What happened?

I had an uncle who lived to be 106 just to be taken out but some ice on his front stairs.

A guy from my high school fell off the roof of a rooftop bar after too much to drink
A tour guide was struck by lightening assisting a tourist (old schoolmate)
Aneurysm while on his motorcycle

My moms coworker choked on some food, but a family member did the Heimlich and he stopped choking. Everybody was relieved and happy. But it turned out during the choking incident he aspirated some food, which caused his lungs to fill with fluid. He died in his sleep that night.

I know 2 people who drowned because of the rip current at Ocean City. One is currently in a vegetative state and one is back to normal but spent 2 weeks in the hospital. They were two separate incidents.

Was there one morning where three people died from riptides, soft sand, moving fast. We formed human chains with the Coast Guard to bring all three of the bodies- all grown men- out of the water. As soon as we heard about one, then there was another.

One woman with a small pink floating donut was brought in from way far out, looked totally shell shocked. I'll never forget that day, and NEVER go in a red flag day, even in shallow waters.

A girl I went to middle school with ran into a soccer goal post, had aneurysm, and died right there on the field.

This one happened in Europe. A young mom put a baby to sleep outside in a stroller.
It was windy and the stroller rolled into their pool.

A law school classmate was a summer associate in DC and fell onto the metro tracks one July 4th weekend. Really heartbreaking.

Also, I went to HS with a girl who was driving out of state with her dad. They drove overnight to avoid traffic but she fell asleep at the wheel. They both died. I’m now terrified to drive drowsy.

My cousin almost died from a perforated bowel that resulted from straining on the toilet due to constipation. Maybe it was something like this but edited to the point of not making sense?

I saw John Denver perform at Camden Yard just before he left on a jet plane and crashed and died. That’s all I’ve got.
