Popular football player kid from high school died Freshman year of college after he got drunk and fell down an embankment and landed facedown in juuuuust enough water to drown him. If he had landed on his back, he would just have had a hangover and a hilarious story about sleeping in a ditch.

There was a local doctor who died a few years ago when he was jet skiing in Ocean City with his son and the boy collided with him and severed his leg. So so awful.

Around here a lady went out to milk her cows, stepped on her pitchfork and it impaled her.
HOWEVER, her husband was charged with her murder. He's in prison but no one is quite sure...

If that’s the same story I’ve seen in detail, there is no real doubt he killed her because she had multiple impalements by the pitchfork, not just one.

One kid at my school was sucked out of a car window during a tornado.

Two people- who were siblings to each other- died in a small plane crash.

One person died in a head-on car accident overseas because the driver didn’t realize he was driving on the wrong side of the road.

A young kid was killed by his father in a hunting accident, being mistaken for an animal.

An elderly family member froze to death after leaving the nursing home unnoticed.

On the flip side, one of my ancestors survived having to jump into the water from the Titanic.

John Denver died piloting a very light experimental home built aircraft (a Rutan Long EZ) off the coast of California.

Nice try, though.

Car got hit by a boat on a trailer that in some way detached from the car that was hauling it on the highway. Don’t drive behind boats!

Neighbor was helping his daughter move and tripped carrying something up the steps. Broke his neck and died.

Former co worker could not afford to pay professionals to trim her trees so was doing it herself. Was in a harness, something went wrong with the chainsaw and she ended up flipped upside down cut both of her arms off and bled to death.

Uncle died on the toilet. Found there days later. We don't know why.

A guy was out fishing, sitting on a rock. A bear came out of the trees and killed him in one swipe. His friend saw it happen.

I know someone who died from a cat scratch. I'm assuming there were a lot of steps in between (knowing her, I'm assuming some attempts to treat the scratch with homeopathy) but the outcome was that she passed away.

Oh no I have such hyper specific anxiety about driving behind, in front of, or next to anything large or with a coupling on the highway already. Nightmare fuel right here.
