Local news says that the CVS on Sangamore was among the retail outlets that these folks hit.

All DC residents, using stolen/carjacked vehicles.

The second adult, 21-year-old Regina Christmas ... ... Christmas was arrested on Friday, June 21 and released in D.C.
“That was a court situation. D.C., they made the decision to let her go. She had felony warrants outside of Montgomery County and there was a decision in D.C. to let her go,” Goff said. “That was a source of contention. She has a court appearance later this month and we are hoping she will appear.”

The other 4 juveniles were arrested, at least.

If ever retailers needed further justification to close up shop in DC, they need look no further than DC's decision to release a 21-year-old who did damage to so many retail stores.

Why? Why!?! Every time I hear the council or other people talk about Justice reform, they say they are talking about minor offenses, not violent crimes. They all claim they also want to prosecute violent criminals. How can they excuse letting this woman walk around?

Maybe they have a strange definition of what constitutes a "minor" offense? Regardless, just think of how many people came into contact with these criminals during their reign of terror -- customers at 100 stores, the carjacking victims, store personnel. It's crazy to think about. Yet Moco police finally catch the 6 thugs, and only 1 ends up in jail.

I wonder what percent of crimes are committed by repeat offenders like this. It's really too bad that politicians think letting these repeat offenders walk the streets is a good thing. The vast majority of poor people are law abiding and want crime-free neighborhoods. Yet politicians seem to do everything to allow crime to proliferate. It's sad.
