I wonder WTAF Bryan Kohberger's parents are thinking today. This was part of their statement, "We will continue to let the legal process unfold and as a family we will love and support our son and brother. We have fully cooperated with law enforcement agencies in an attempt to seek the truth and promote his presumption of innocence rather than judge unknown facts and make erroneous assumptions."

Are they now thinking, "Holy shit, that's some damning evidence!"

What are the chances this was all written out as part of his PhD thesis? It would be interesting to read. I'm willing to bet he singled out the one victim because she's the blonde, fun, party girl, popular on campus. The kind of victim America loves to give attention.

I think when he cuts a plea deal to take the death penalty off the table a condition will be that he answers the why question.

Okay, so per the affidavit she heard a thump, opened her door, thought it was a roommate playing with the dog. Then hears Xana crying and the "Don't worry I'm here to help you", opens door again. Then it's quiet, opens door a third time and sees him walking by. For whatever reason he does not attack her. She is anxious but unsure what it was all about, so locked herself in her room and went to sleep. Wakes up 7-ish hours later, texts her roommates, then realizes something bad did happen and calls 911.

We know Xana was awake. He must have killed her boyfriend first (the thump?) and she was terrified but was in shock and cried rather than screamed. He must have incapacitated her quickly since it was then quiet. The others were murdered in their sleep, so no noise.

Witness encountered BK on the 2nd floor? Where the sliding glass door was? But her bedroom was on the first floor? Or am I getting something wrong?

I am sure today is even worse for them than the day he was arrested becuase I don’t know how you read that affidavit and not think to yourself, my God he’s a mass murderer.

I bet they wanted to see what he’d do with the car, if anything. He was being watched, so I’m sure he incriminated himself.

I’m sure the fbi has enough to do, but every small town sheriff should call the fbi for help. It’s just unreasonable to expect a Barney fife sheriff to put together a quality homicide investigation in a town where the last murder was almost a decade ago. So many crimes go unsolved in small times because the police are over their heads.

If these were in fact his first murders, he may have been in some kind of shock.

I’m sure the fbi has enough to do, but every small town sheriff should call the fbi for help. It’s just unreasonable to expect a Barney fife sheriff to put together a quality homicide investigation in a town where the last murder was almost a decade ago. So many crimes go unsolved in small times because the police are over their heads.

Only Moscow PD handled this one correctly right off the bat, without their help, so…
