Sometimes is it good for the elderly to step aside and let younger minds lead/make decisions.

Not to mention that the Monarch doesn't lead or make decisions in the UK. They provide advice, which is probably better coming from someone older anyway.

Yes, Peggington is the only royal to never cheat and he’s really living in Adelaide cottage because they thought that given the fact that the UK can’t afford a bank holiday for the Queen’s death it would be a great time to get a fourth house just cause.

The funny thing is they were just arguing up thread that it’s common for a King to have affairs. So which is it?

My impression was that he always wanted Camilla but was forced to marry somebody with more aristocratic blood. Am I going wrong?

I still think cheaters are the worst but I just want to have my facts straight.

I also don't know with what this has to do with Camilla's popularity in the UK. She's like the 10th most popular royal, right? Probably higher now. I think she won them over, and a lot of people didn't like Diana in the first place.

So did Diana, and considering the vitriol DCUM reserves for the Other Women, it’s surprising that she gets off scot free. Many of her lovers were married men.

I was thinking yesterday about the alternative history.. IF Charles and Camilla got to be married the first time around.

In this alternative timeline, I think she would have cheated. Maybe him too, but definitely her.

Their culture is messed up. All of the couples in their social group at that time fooled around. Awful people.

She is not the Queen. She is the Queen consort, which just means she is married to the King. Her kids will not get titles because they were not born into the Royal family.
